<p class="has-medium-font-size">The <strong>Del Rey League</strong> is home to some tough competition as well in the state of California, they are spread out within the five team league and some prominent names are on these teams, that we are going to mention. The battle for league is halfway thru and it will be a dog fight into the playoffs for these teams, with CIFSS taking about 3 to 4 teams out of this league each and every year in different divisions, way to represent Del Rey. </p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>Bishop Montgomery HS:</strong> (18-6) Overall; (5-1) in League: <strong>Dalayja Floyd-Hurt, [player_tooltip player_id='574430' first='Sophia' last='Dignadice'], [player_tooltip player_id='566438' first='Cyriah' last='Coleman'], [player_tooltip player_id='441056' first='Deyla' last='Davis'], Kadence Lloyd, Kyori Lloyd</strong> are making waves in the league and are running it like a general, we have watched them since last year and they are strong and quick, they dominate when they play, we love watching them get after it, they will go far in the playoffs this year, expect them to be in a finals this year.</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>La Salle HS:</strong> (22-2) Overall; (4-1) in League: <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='164756' first='Ellie' last='Chen'], Aubrey Ramos, Reese Wong, Aliyah Casas, Catherine De Los Reyes, Julianne Tan, Kaden Cortes, Lauren Cardenas, Avery Ward, [player_tooltip player_id='267590' first='Audrey' last='Chen'], Meghan Christiensen</strong> and <strong>Casey Higgins</strong> keep their team in second place and they are gonna try and beat a number one team in the second rematch of the league. If they can keep the other league teams at bay, they will be able to stay close and maybe take the league title with a defeat of the top team in Bishop Montgomery. We will have to see if it is possible.</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>St. Paul HS: </strong>(14-11) Overall; (3-3) in League: <strong>Samantha Carrillo, [player_tooltip player_id='267592' first='Syri' last='Prevo'], Maya Mendoza, Sara Guajardo-Rivera, Gloria Berrera, Frida Cadena Hernandez, Larissa Contreras, Loretta Aguirre-Colmenero, Fiyona Haile, Danielle Alvarez, Ahlanah Hamilton, Jazmin Zambrano, Samira Padilla</strong> and <strong>Ashley Victorian</strong> and their team is hanging at third place in league and a possible berth into the CIFSS playoffs, most leagues 1st - 3rd will get a spot. If they can pull off and upset or two and get that second spot from La Salle, they are set with a guaranteed spot into the playoffs without being an at-large team. </p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>St. Anthonys HS: </strong>(11-14) Overall; (2-4) in League: <strong>Meliaiah Joseph, Laila Hughes, Nicole Ros, [player_tooltip player_id='104783' first='Ryann' last='Bennett'], Isabella Garcia, Dallyn Knox, Natalia James, Monica Sexton, Kaylah Cannon</strong> and <strong>Anaya Tunu</strong> and her team can turn it around if they can win the next four games, they have the talent and always have, but they looked to have a hard time in some good games which they could not win. With a few leaders we are aware of they will look better in these four games and possibly sneak into 3rd. </p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>Serra HS:</strong> (2-19) Overall; (0-5) in League: <strong>Jadah Foster, Imani Hagens, Dana Stillwell, Kennedy Pitts, Ryleigh Boagni, Rachelle Thompson, Kori Pickett, Saielle Howard, Kaylah Holmes, Tamia Hope, Sade Dampier, Jessica Bob, Nasia Thompson</strong> and <strong>Amani Taylor</strong> and her team are struggling this year and it is apparent from the record they are posting, they have always been a contender in the playoffs and have won a few championships in the past five years of so. This group will rebound whether it be in the last few league games or if they are an at-large team in the playoffs if possible.</p>
