Taylor Blehm (Marion C. Early): A 5’11” 2024 forward with good height and strength who can operate inside or at the high post with equal effectiveness. She has good footwork and she can score on a variety of moves in the low post, which include drop steps and spin moves in the lane. When she catches the ball at the high post, she can beat defenders off the dribble or hit the mid-range jumper. She can also deliver a nice dime to a cutting teammate for a bucket. She also plays the game at her own pace.
Shae Lewis (Bishop LeBlond): A 5’9″ 2023 guard who has good length and athletic ability. She’s a solid ball handler with good mobility and a smooth shooting stroke from 3-point range. She has good defensive instincts and she uses her length to be disruptive at the top of her team’s full court press. She was selected the Most Valuable Player of the LeBlond Christmas Tournament after leading the Golden Eagles to the championship. She scored 16 points against Savannah in the championship game.
Bella Harter (Billings): A 5’11” 2023 forward who plays a strong game around the basket. She catches the ball well in traffic and she can score with either hand inside. She makes effective use of the backboard when she finishes inside. She rebounds well and she keeps the ball high from opposing guards. She can also knock down the jumper from the high post and she will also step out and hit a 3-pointer.
Skylar Sweeney (Farmington): A 2023 guard who plays with high energy and she always seems to be around the ball. She is always moving and making good cuts off the ball to keep the offense flowing. She has good passing skills and she will penetrate and dish the ball to open teammates. She is also a very good 3-point shooter who can really light it up from distance when she gets into a rhythm.
Ellie Buscher (Lutheran South): A 5’11” 2024 forward who led the Lancers to the championship of their own tournament last weekend. She is a strong inside player who can control a game at both ends of the court. She’s very active on the boards and she will rebound out of her area. She post up very strong and with authority inside to give a good target. She can score on the drop step or on the turnaround jumper. She will also step out and hit the 3-pointer. She is a double-double machine whenever she takes the court. She is currently averaging 16.2 points and 12 rebounds while shooting 50 percent from the field and blocking three shots a game.
Renzlee Davidson Renzlee Davidson 5'4" | PG Winfield | 2024 MO (Winfield): A 5’4″ 2024 point guard who is very quick and shifty with the basketball with a variety of ways to score. She can weave in and out of traffic on her way to the basket and she’s fearless on the drive inside against taller defenders. She can create off the dribble and knock down the 3-pointer while also finding the open teammate with the nice pass. She is currently averaging 16.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.5 steals while shooting 35 percent from 3-point range.
Hallie Fender (Spokane): A 2023 guard who has been an impact player for the Lady Owls after transferring in from Arkansas. She has excellent handles with good court vision and the ability to drop dimes from different spots on the court. She attacks the basket well on the dribble penetration and she has the ability to score in the lane or hit the open 3-pointer from the perimeter. She also plays the passing lanes well with her good defensive instincts.
Lucy Newberry (Marionville): A 5’10” 2024 guard who plays the game with a lot of pace as she likes to stay in attack mode. She is constantly probing the defense and she will get into the lane either on the straight line drive or with a nice hesitation that will freeze defenders on her way to the basket. She can also be a disruptive force on the defense end as she can use her height and length to get deflections and create turnovers for transition baskets.
