Peek At Players Part 3

She showed an elite understanding of the game. Johnson knew how to use and how to work off a downscreen. She got open, used good footwork, and got set for the shot. With their star player in foul trouble early, it was Weaver that rose to the occasion. She finished with an 11 point and 13 rebound double-double. Ignore that number next to her name, that will be fixed by a couple hundred spots in due time. She showed quick hands and anticipation defensively. Espanol utilized defensive positioning and made life difficult for her opponents. She can put up chunks of points. As if dropping 28 in early December wasn't enough, she had a recent 26 point and 25 rebound performance. That's like a double double-double. Not to mention that she also added 4 assists and 4 steals. She created high percentage fast break buckets by creating turnovers and taking them the length of the floor.
