Ameerah Grant Ameerah Grant 5'5" | PG Brown Deer | 2025 State WI
There aren’t many guards with as explosive a first step as Grant. She’s so dynamic with the ball in her hands, and she’s played well against some of the better teams in southeast Wisconsin when she’s seen some talented defenders. She’s shot the ball better than she did as a freshman and looks much more confident in every area of the floor. Grant is as dynamic as anyone in the Woodland Conference and causes issues for defenses every time she steps on the floor.
Makenzie Luehring Makenzie Luehring 5'6" | PG Kettle Moraine Lutheran | 2025 State WI
After a season that Luehring split between JV and Varisty last season, the sophomore has exploded onto the scene this season. I’ve loved how she’s expanded her offensive game and hasn’t settled for anything. She takes what defenses give her, which leads to some incredible nights. Luehring has had multiple 40-point games and has averaged over 24 this season. What she’s done this season has been nothing short of spectacular and has the Chargers in a position where they may make a run into March this season.
Molly Janke Molly Janke 5'10" | SG Ellsworth | 2024 State WI
I love checking in on Ellsworth and Janke because she’s learning how to help her team win while being the sole focus of opposing defenses. She’s recorded a triple-double this season, reached 1,000 points as a junior, and consistently helps her team compete in games that they probably shouldn’t be in. Her ability to score in bunches makes her team dangerous because, in most games, she’ll be one of the most lethal athletes on the floor who can change the course of a game in a heartbeat. Don’t be surprised if Ellsworth is extremely competitive next season.
The Menomonee Falls wing had a solid sophomore season. However, her performances didn’t translate to wins, which is ok. This season, things are different. She’s building off her successful freshman season and has helped her team to an early 6-3 record in the GMC, which is impressive considering where they were a year ago. You can see the early stages of a team who could become a contending program in a few years and possibly contend for something, depending on how Shea and her teammates develop.
