She plays both ends of the floor, hustles up and down the court and does alot of the "little things" to ensure her team is successful. Offensively, she is a true threat - she can shoot off the dribble, create her own shot, attack the basket and finish at the rim. Makenna scored in double figures efficiently against Alva, Blackwell and Chisholm. Defensively, she is solid when playing on ball and does an excellent job of playing help side.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Alyssa Goldsberry 2023 - Perry: Alyssa is a shooter. She can score from beyond the arc at a high perecntage but knows when to flip the switch and attack the basket. Goldsberry runs the floor well and does a good job of finishing at the rim in transition. She plays defense, aggressively and had numerous deflections and steals. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Kinley Botts 2024 - Blackwell: Kinley played hard every minute she was on the court. She gave the same effort when her team was up and when her team was down. She was able to get to the basket through traffic and score from a variety of spots. Kinley did a good job rebounding and defends well around the perimeter.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Maddie Fuksa 2023 - Chisholm: Maddie is a quiet force for the Lady Longhorns. She does a great job rebounding and reads the defense well - she knows when to go back up strong and when to pass it back out to restart the offense. Defensively, she protects the inside and hustles back to protect the basket in transition.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
