The MIAA season is in the final stretch before the playoffs. Here we look at 5 players who are game Changers in the MIAA. Savanah Azoff, Denis Yarmouth, Class 2025, Position G, Savannah is having a very strong season for Denis Yarmouth. She recently had her first career triple double with 20 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. She is a playmaking guard, that can score in multiple ways. She has a strong outside shot, and can also get downhill and score at the rim. She also is very good in transition, and forces a bunch of steals leading to easy layups for her team. She is proving that she has a lot of upside in her game. [player_tooltip player_id='184004' first='Anna' last='Foley'], Andover, Position PF, Class 2023 Andover is currently undefeated, and a large part of that is because of the play of [player_tooltip player_id='184004' first='Anna' last='Foley']. Foley is a 6-3 versatile forward, Opposing teams have a lot of trouble matching up with her. She is a double double machine night in and out, and just plays so smooth. She can attack from inside and out. She has very good back to the basket moves, and also can go face up and score off the dribble. She is a paint protector on defense, and impacts the game on both ends of the floor. Anna's game will translate well to the college level. Abagail Wright, Newton North, Class 2023, Position SF, The Harvard Commit has been a game changing player for the Newton North Tigers. She is a physical stretch forward, with good length, to match her skill set. She can step outside and shoot the three, attack the basket off the dribble, and she really boxes out hard and gets a bunch of rebounds. She is a tough and fundamentally sound player, who also has a high basketball IQ. She also plays great help-side defense, and can guard multiple positions. Abigail has the tools to be successful at the college level. [player_tooltip player_id='298219' first='Emily' last='Collins'], Winchester, position C, Class 2024, Emily has been having a big season for Winchester. She has really improved her overall skill set. She is known for her strength, and dominate post play. She has a good touch and footwork, and is very strong in the paint. She also has a very good mid range jumper, and can shoot over the top of the defense. She has been putting up big numbers for Winchester, and impacts the game on both sides of the floor. [player_tooltip player_id='184018' first='Julie' last='Bahati'], Springfield Central, Class 2023, Position PF Julie is a physical presence, and a very strong post player. She has improved her overall skill set, and I have seen her comfortable putting the ball on the floor, and attacking off the dribble. She has good athleticism to go along with her size and strength. She is a paint protector on defense and a very good shot blocker. Julie has the game to play at the division 1 college level.
