6A State Playoffs Preview Part 2

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Continuing our preview of the 6A State Playoffs for the 6A Classification, we take an intriguing look at a trio of teams from the Beaver State. The Benson Techsters were tested early and often in the early season, starting things off in the East Coast against elite competition - it has paid off as they have steamrolled through the PIL. The Clackamas Cavaliers started the season on national radars as look to prove a statement with one of the most decorated rosters in the State. The Jefferson Democrats are a young bunch with an interesting group of talent as they look to prove their worth headed into March.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Benson Techsters</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Techsters have a plethora of talent, centered around the senior duo in [player_tooltip player_id='158559' first='Malaya' last='LeSueur'] and Onna Brown who are very much so yin and yang at the guard position.&nbsp; Center [player_tooltip player_id='255256' first='Mahogany' last='Chandler-Roberts'] is the bulldozing machine who plays with authority yet poise.&nbsp; Mauriana Hashemina-orr is a poised point guard who scores with good accuracy as well as drops off dimes to her fellow teammates.&nbsp; Super freshman Samrah Massey is an incredibly gifted scorer who does it all at three-levels with much ease.&nbsp; Add transfer [player_tooltip player_id='834113' first='Eboni' last='Clay'] into the mix and you have a truly formidable cast of Techsters who play with tremendous aggressiveness on both ends of their floor.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Clackamas Cavaliers</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Clackamas Cavs began the season on several top 25 lists and recently they have shown why.&nbsp; The Cavs have yet to lose a game to an In-State team as of yet and look to continue to do so to clinch a State Championship.&nbsp; On paper, they certainly have the looks of such a team.&nbsp; Household name [player_tooltip player_id='833357' first='Jazzy' last='Davidson'] anchors the Cavs as a generational talent with grace and wit.&nbsp; Seniors [player_tooltip player_id='158545' first='Rhyan' last='Mogel'] and [player_tooltip player_id='158558' first='Eliza' last='Buerk'] began the spark in the program as sophomores and look to lead.&nbsp; The talent continues with multi-tasking [player_tooltip player_id='502350' first='Dylan' last='Mogel'] and [player_tooltip player_id='833601' first='Allie' last='Roden'].&nbsp; [player_tooltip player_id='833579' first='Avery' last='Peterson'] is the blistering guard whereas [player_tooltip player_id='833518' first='Sara' last='Barhoum'] the sniper that comes alive.&nbsp; The Cavaliers are a serious contender and look to continue the conversation.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Jefferson Democrats</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Demos have made noise all season long and have quite the cast of young talent on their roster.&nbsp; First and foremost is [player_tooltip player_id='502343' first='Abrianna' last='Lawrence'], daughter of Coach Andre Lawrence.&nbsp; She leads her team with courage and strength through grit and example.&nbsp; Chauncey Lawrence is a forward who plays with tenacity and confidence.&nbsp; Twins Leila and [player_tooltip player_id='985195' first='Carmela' last='Nunez'] are two intriguing forwards who have the ability to stretch the floor and take it gracefully to the basket.&nbsp; [player_tooltip player_id='502346' first='Brooklyn' last='Chatman'] has seniority, being one of the older members on the team and has taken a larger role as a sharpshooter as of late.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
