The top ranked team in the state was able to get revenge on last season’s postseason loss to Valley Vista on Thursday night, but it wasn’t easy. At the end of the first quarter, Desert Vista held a slim 19-17 lead. Desert Vista was able to expand that lead to 8 at the half leading 38-30.
