Northwest Indians was highly prepared team when they took on Copley and won 51-47 on Saturday night lead by Lily Bottomley Lily Bottomley 6'2" | C Northwest | 2023 State OH with 16 points and Ashlyn Stark with 15 points, they are a good group of guards that can do it all and with Lily in the post area she has proven to be a force, now as they prepare to take on a team that has their number from the regular season they will look to continue their stride and keep advancing. This will be a good matchup
CVCA has been shooting lights out from the 3 point line and it didn’t stop until they was able to secure their district championship against Elyria Catholic 58-47 with Gia Casalinova Gia Casalinova 5'7" | CG Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy | 2023 State OH knocking 4 down with 24 points and Joi Williams Joi Williams 5'5" | PG CVCA | 2025 State OH having 16 points and Kylie Bettinger Kylie Bettinger 5'10" | SG CVCA | 2023 OH with 12 points hitting 4 three’s also, they are riding hot from deep and will look to continue knocking big shots down against Northwest in the Regional Semi’s
Marlington came in and did not want to loose they play together and fought hard against a determine Perry team but came up with the win 54-49 behind Elizabeth Mason with 20 points and passing 1,000 points for her career and Chelsea Evanich Chelsea Evanich 5'10" | SF Alliance Marlington | 2024 State OH chipped in 10 points in their win but they know they aren’t done yet they will still need to play Marlington ball to continue to move to the next round
Stvm has been rolling throughout their bracket, they have been playing solid basketball to get where they are now after defeating Norton 49-34 and leading the way for the Irish was Senior guard Jazmin Torres with 18 points and shot 11-12 from the free-throw line she was determined not to let her team down and she didn’t, and Junior Erica King Erica King 5'7" | CG St. Vincent St. Mary | 2024 State OH also put in 14 points to go along with Torres.
