(HOT) Prospects That Are Still On The Board

From Sophomore season to now she's averaged over 20 points per game and 7 steals. I think the biggest step back from her being an automatic D2 stud is her size at 5'3. None the less she's a player that I'd for sure take a chance on. Leader, motivator, HOOPER! This year alone she's averaging a double-double with 21 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists a game. For her career it's 20 points, 5.5 assists, 7.9 rebounds and 6.2 steals a game... To add insult to injury regarding her size she averages .7 blocks a game. Ellie is a Hooper, Hooper and I for one am excited to see where this stud plays at the next level. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='100453' first='Laikyn' last='Roney'] - Another stud from Oakes High School. The last stud Oakes had was Sadie Hanson and we all know how much of a threat that woman was. Roney is similar, just without the consistent jump shot, but believe me when I say it's come a long way. If you're a college coach reading this and you're interested in a junk yard dog then look no further. Roney's numbers this year are 20 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.1 steals and 2 assists a game. This is her third year averaging over 15 points and 6 rebounds a game. In the hustle category you won't find anyone better on this list. Laikyn is 5'10 and can play inside or out. A strong physical player that is going to make a team at the next level just that much better. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='211392' first='Genevieve' last='Gruba'] - I couldn't find stats for her this year so listing her junior stats right away... 17 points, 10 rebounds, 1.5 assists. I bet looking at that spread of numbers you thought a 4 or 5 right away huh? Gruba is a SG who plays big. She can stretch the court and shoot though it isn't always pretty sitting around 30% from deep, but makes up for it at the line shooting 77%. To define Genevieve's play style we'll call her a slasher. She's not primarily strong with the rock, but knows enough how to protect it. She uses her size in creating mismatches with smaller post players and is truly a player that knows where to be on the court. I think Gruba will make a great addition to an NAIA looking for a spark off the bench for the first year. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='100438' first='Kennedy' last='Harter'] - A player that I'll miss covering for sure. A true beast in the post and a stretch big that has a pretty jump shot. She just had a field day against Ellendale over the weekend and looks to be in prime shape to take Kidder County to the State tourney the way she's been playing lately. I don't think there's a 4 better than her in Class B. She's long, athletic, quick on her feet and moves like a guard in the open court. How she's still on the recruiting board is astonishing to me. This is an immediate impact player at an NAIA and spark off the bench at a D2. Another player I'm excited to watch at the next level. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='314664' first='Norah' last='Entzi'] - Not a lot probably know this name, but I'm sure you know EKM. Entzi is a dark horse pick on this list. She's athletics, long, aggressive and has all the right tools to be successful at the next level. She shot nearly 50% from deep last year and is still such a valuable asset to this Rebel squad that has State tourney hopes. Entzi is a coaches dream. She seems to be in the right place at the right time and doesn't overdue what she's not use to doing on the court.
