Nisa was dominant down low in the paint for Lake Stevens all year long. She was reliable on the rebounds and has improved her offensive footwork and post moves quite a bit. She had several double-double games over the season, almost one every game in fact. Ellis will lead this team for the rest of this year and will be relied on more so next season as a senior.
Carmen is a guard who can really shoot the ball. She hits the three at a very high percentage and can distribute the ball really well to her teammates. She plays lock down defense, often getting 3 or 4 steals in a game and sometimes some blocks thrown in there. She is scrappy and still improving on the court. Her senior season will be one to watch.
Jacey is on a stacked Woodinville team but she finds ways to make plays. She rebounds extremely well and finishes through traffic well. On defense, she holds her ground inside and has great timing blocking shots. But she also has some good touch on her jumper, drilling free throws and even knocking down the long-range shot sometimes.
Vida improved her game a lot over the course of this season. She has been able to score well all season and find her spots. She shoots the ball very efficiently and likes to get involved in rebounds. She is going to improve more over this summer and should have a big season next year for Nathan Hale.
