Spartanburg Day 34 Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach 17
The Griffins jumped out and never looked back in this opening round game. Spartanburg Day led 25-2 at the halftime break over the Lady Saints. Carly Garrity led the way with 12 points, Grace Becker Grace Becker 5'6" | SG Spartanburg Day | 2025 State SC added 8 points while Kaytlin McJimpsey Kaytlin McJimpsey 5'5" | PG Spartanburg Day | 2025 State SC chipped in with 6 points.
The Lady Saints finished the season at (14-8). Carly Belle Jackson Carly Belle Jackson 5'4" | CG Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach | 2024 State SC led the way with 13 points. The Lady Saints were playing without junior Grace Owens Grace Owens 5'9" | SG Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach | 2024 State SC who was out sick.
Greenwood Christian 43 Northside Christian 37
It’s tough to defeat a team 3 times in a season. The Lady Crusaders jumped out to a quick lead at 10-2 at the end of the first quarter. Northside Christian went into the halftime intermission with a 21-15 lead. The Lady Hawks (20-3) took over in the 3rd quarter and outscored the Lady Crusaders 17-3. The Lady Hawks were led in scoring by seniors Caroline Reed Caroline Reed 5'8" | SG Greenwood Christian | 2023 State SC and Hallie Ruth Stumbo Hallie Ruth Stumbo 5'8" | PF Greenwood Christian | 2023 State SC both with 12 points. Shooting Guard Anna Claire Watkins added 9 points all on three pointers and Freshman Audrey Federe Audrey Federe 5'9" | PF Greenwood Christian | 2026 State SC chipped in 6 points and a ton of rebounds it seemed.
UNSIGNED Senior Shandrea Pringle Shandrea Pringle 5'10" | PF Northside Christian | 2023 State SC finished her career with the Lady Crusaders with 20 points. Pringle did everything she could possibly try today to pull-out a victory. Shandrea can play inside-out on the floor at times. She took the ball to the rack at times today when she wasn’t setting screens on the floor. UNSIGNED Senior Layla Parker Layla Parker 5'9" | SF Northside Christian | 2023 State SC finished with 8 points in the loss. Parker was saddled with 3 fouls at the 2:32 mark of the first quarter and really not caught a rhythm today.
Calhoun Academy 52 Marlboro Academy 34
The Lady Cavaliers moved to (11-14) on the season and will play Cathedral Academy in the next round. Calhoun Academy really relies on the services of Sarah Grace Kizer and Reagan Kizer Reagan Kizer 5'8" | PF Calhoun Academy | 2024 State SC . Sarah Grace a senior finished with 17 points today while Reagan a junior finished with 27 points.
Hammond 71 Laurence Manning Academy 38
This game was close for a bit at 13-13 then before you knew it the Lady Skyhawks jumped out to a 43-24 halftime lead. Hammond got good scoring from Samira Khalil Samira Khalil 5'8" | CG Hammond | 2024 State SC and Kayce Hyman Kayce Hyman 5'10" | SF Hammond | 2024 State SC both scoring 23 points apiece in the game. The Lady Skyhawks will move on and play Northwood Academy on Monday in the SCISA Class 4A Quarterfinals.
The Lady Cats have some solid pieces moving forward with freshman Lyza Pricklemyer Lyza Pricklemyer 5'6" | CG Laurence Manning Academy | 2026 State SC and Ashley Rae Hodge Ashley Rae Hodge 5'3" | PG Laurence Manning Academy | 2026 State SC . The duo finished with 14 and 9 points respectively.
