It shows the sheer amount of talent that these players have and their abilities to score, which just seem unrivaled in today’s game in the Garden State. Here are the newest members of the 2K point club.
Hannah Hidalgo Hannah Hidalgo 5'7" | PG Paul VI | 2023 State NJ – Paul VI (2023)
You are probably not shocked to see Hidalgo’s name on this list as she’s done quite well for herself at Paul VI, one of the most dominant high school players we’ve seen come out of the Garden State in quite some time. Hidalgo reached the plateau on Thursday night against Camden Catholic, a 29-point performance in a 22-point win. It was her 10th game of at least 29 points this season for the Eagles, and Hidalgo reached the milestone in her 85th high school game. She’s currently averaging 23.5 PPG for her high school career.
Alexis Davis Alexis Davis 6'0" | SF Woodbury | 2023 State NJ – Woodbury (2023)
Davis is part of an even more exclusive club of players, that being those in the 2000 point club and 1000 rebound club. She’s done both with Woodbury, putting on a showcase that not many others can rival at the forward position. In just 82 games, Davis reached the mark and is closing in on 100 career three-pointers in high school as well. She hit 2000 on Tuesday against West Deptford, her 10th 20-point, 20-rebound double-double of the season. In her career, Davis is averaging 24.8 PPG and 15 RPG.
Rylie Theuerkauf Rylie Theuerkauf 5'7" | SG Tenafly | 2023 State NJ – Tenafly (2023)
This list would not be complete without the leading scorer in Tenafly history, the active leading scorer among all current players in terms of career points scored and someone who’s posted eight 30-point games this season alone. She’s been absolutely electric as a scorer for Tenafly and is going to be an incredible shooter when she gets to Wake Forest next season. Theuerkauf was the first player to reach the plateau this season in New Jersey and through 18 games played this season, she’s averaging 27.5 PPG. Overall, she’s averaging 28.3 PPG for her career in 81 games played.
