Victory Christian Lady Conquerors – Difference Makers

She is an all around ball player that brings an energy and spark to the game that not many players are capable of. She has a high motor and a high ceiling. In the game against Cascia Hall, she dominately both offensively and defensively. Laci is a hustler and is tough as nails. She was in the mix in every situation - she rebounds well, handles the ball eloquently under pressure, shoots with poise and confidence, attacks the basket, finishes well around the rim and applies defensive pressure on the ball, aggressively and fiercely. Laci is a player to keep a close eye on! </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='318190' first='Mia' last='Brown'] 2024: Mia is a player that can go! She plays both ends of the floor with a combination of speed and aggressivness. On offensive, she attacks the basket well and finds the open spots to get her perimeter shots off. She has a quick cross inside the paint that catches the defense off guard - and, this allows her to ease her way in for a lay up. Defensively, she keeps her opponent in front of her and is quick on her feet. Mia had a handful of deflections and steals against Cascia Hall due to her ability to time the bounce. Brown is a solid player and 100% makes a positive impact for the Victory squad.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Canadee Farquhar 2025: Canadee is a solid presence for the Victory Christian team. She handles the ball well and finishes, efficiently around the basket. Canadee uses her size to get her opponents out of her way when rebounding and does an excellent job of finding her open teammates. Farquhar will be an interesting player to keep tabs on as she is only a sophmore and already making an impact for the Lady Conquerors.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Katie Elliott 2024: Katie is a player that does a little bit of everything for her team. She shoots the ball well from outside but knows when to turn it up a notch and attack the basket. She is constantly moving on the offensive end and positions herself, accurately - for rebounds. Defensively, she is quick and plays helps side defense well. She applies enough pressure to get the ball handler to pick up the ball but does this without being reckless and fouling. Katie is the definition of a team player. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
