Olivia Lange Olivia Lange 5'7" | SG Conway Springs | 2024 State KS , 5’7″, SG, Conway Springs – The Central Plains League second team selection joins the ranks at #125, Lange stood out to me early in the season with her effectiveness in the transition game. She changes ends quickly and runs well. While shooting only 21% from three point land, she did can 33 and shot 76% from the line on the way to averaging 12.6 points per game. She has good touch on her perimeter shot but needs to improve her accuracy.
Harley Baker Harley Baker 5'7" | CG Bashor-Linwood | 2024 State KS , 5’7″, CG, Bashor-Linwood – Entering into the season Coach Jason Tatkenhorst, as reported in the Leavenworth Times, called her the most improved player from the summer. A confident player, she had expanded her game and has a knack for being in the right spot. Over the 2023 season she averaged 11.7 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 2.9 steals for the 14-8 Bobcats. The 2023 first team United Kansas Selection enters at #128.
Brynn Steven Brynn Steven 5'6" | CG Bishop Carroll | 2024 State KS , 5’6″, CG, Bishop Carroll – Steven had a huge impact on the Crusaders’ two-loss season that ended with a runner-up finish at the 5A state championship. Fast with good quicks on both ends, Steven showed finishing ability in traffic; scoring off the bounce; and really good movement into space. Her movement and being a multiple threat made her perimeter shooting ;really dangerous. The second team Greater Wichita Athletic League selection debuts at #130.
Breezy Canady Breezy Canady 5'5" | PG Shawnee Heights | 2024 State KS , 5’5″, PG, Shawnee Heights – A United Kansas Conference honorable mention selection, Canady enters the rankings at #142. She has quick hands and good ability to finish at speed with both hands. Canady also will knock down the occasional three ball.
Morgan Ruff Morgan Ruff 5'6" | PG Hodgeman County | 2024 State KS , 5’6″, PG/SG, Hodgeman County – The Southern Plains-Iroquois Activities Association first team selection debuts at #144. Sydnie Jones Sydnie Jones 5'10" | SG Bucklin | 2024 State KS , 5’10”, SG, Bucklin – Entering the ranks at #145, Jones earned second team SPIAA after being named honorable mention a season ago. This past season she averaged 15.8 ppg, shot 34% from three point land (51 made), hit 65% of her free throws, and gathered 3.2 steals. A terrific three point shooter with range, Jones has handles to go end-to-end with speed. With experience her penchant for getting ahead of herself with the ball has easing.
Jenessa Ruder Jenessa Ruder 5'8" | SG Norton | 2024 State KS , 5’8″, SG, Norton – Joining at #147, the Mid Continent Conference second team selection is a terrific perimeter shooter.
