6A State Tournament Captivating Efforts

The 2022-2023 OSAA 6A State Tournament is behind us - in what was a tremendous season, we take a look at the best performances from the final day of action at the Chiles Center. Lizzie Bennett is a swiss army knife for West Salem. [player_tooltip player_id='502354' first='Izzie' last='Harms'] is an elusive and illustrious force for Willamette. [player_tooltip player_id='158545' first='Rhyan' last='Mogel'] and [player_tooltip player_id='833357' first='Jazzy' last='Davidson'] ended up on top for Clackamas. [player_tooltip player_id='158543' first='Donovyn' last='Hunter'] showed everybody out there what South Medford hoops is all about.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lizzie Bennett 2023 5'11" SF West Salem HS - as Bennett eclipsed the 1,300 point mark during the State Tournament, she also concluded her high school career on a high note as she punched in a 16 point effort versus Willamette in the Consolation Final. Unsigned senior had a tremendous four year career with the Titans.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='502354' first='Izzie' last='Harms'] 2025 6'0" PF Willamette HS - one of the biggest stock risers was Izzie, who showed that she can hang with the big dogs. In the Consolation Final, she had a huge showing in 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 4 steals - captivating as a position-less forward with the ability to score from all over the floor.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='158545' first='Rhyan' last='Mogel'] 2023 5'11' SF Clackamas HS - Mogel certainly made a statement at her future home in Chiles Center as the University of Portland signee had an outstanding 18 points and 5 rebounds in the finale versus South Medford to clinch their 6A State Championship. The do-it all Mogel is a diligent and calculated player who looks to continue this trend at UP.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='158543' first='Donovyn' last='Hunter'] 2023 6'0" PG South Medford HS - the Oregon State bound Hunter put all her chips in the middle, as she made an outlasting effort on the floor - leaving nothing on it. She had a 15 point, 4 rebound, 2 steal performance in a trademark game where she was persistent, determined, and never let up.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='833357' first='Jazzy' last='Davidson'] 2025 6'1" SF Clackamas HS - the All-American forward had another game where she displayed the ability to do it all.
