Essynce Contreraz – Holy Family
Contreraz was especially difficult to contain while attacking from the perimeter. The 5’6 lead guard effectively changed speeds within the halfcourt, baiting opposing forwards into fouls. Through the junior’s finals appearance, she put up 10 points, 8 assits, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals. Her presence puts Holy Family’s halfcourt offense in good hands, rarely forcing decisions and methodically searching for the most efficient scoring looks.

Through her finals appearance, Snashall provided a wide variety of winning plays to Holy Family’s 4A victory. The guard was advantageous through this round of games, with well timed passes and pivotal defensive rebounds. At roughly 6’1, Snashall brought the valuable dynamic of a mobile rebounder whose reach was greater than anybody with D’Evelyn. The guard even showcased a couple attempts at mid-range pullups, proving unguardable from that distance. She was adept hunting down drivers to contest or outright block shots into the sideline. Snashall’s finals appearance was valuable, contributing 14 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, and 4 blocks. The 6’1 guard will be taking her talents to Regis University next year, tough to argue for a better outcome to her high school career.

Macy Scheer Macy Scheer 6'0" | SG D'Evelyn | 2024 State CO – D’Evelyn – 2024
Scheer had a variety of high level passing reads throughout D’Evelyn’s finals appearance. The 6′ 2024 guard utilized her height in the post to find cutters around the rim, taking advantages of those along the backdoor. Down the stretch, Scheer provided value from clutch shotmaking, notably through her three pointer with a minute left and her pair of free throws to bring the game to a three point differential.
Peyton Marvel Peyton Marvel 5'9" | SG D'Evelyn | 2024 State CO – D’Evelyn – 2024
