I'm sticking with what I tried yesterday in having a live notebook that I update at the end of halves and games. I had fun with the idea yesterday. I hope you all enjoyed it, and I'll do it again today.

Division 5

McDonell Central vs. Albany

1st half
-Albany can't buy a basket early
-McDonell is crashing the glass on both ends of the floor
-The Macks ball pressure is making Albany uncomfortable
-Aubrey Dorn is probably the best five in D5
-She's an excellent athlete and covers a bunch of ground for McDonell
-Almost had a first-half double-double
-Albany down 18 isn't done with [player_tooltip player_id='448295' first='Abby' last='Hollis'] shooting the ball

2nd half
-Nothing to say, the game was over at halftime

Blair-Taylor vs. Wabeno/Laona

1st half
-Blair-Taylor's pressure is a problem for W/L
-[player_tooltip player_id='156080' first='Abby' last='Thompson'] has been extremley disruptive defensively
-W/L is doing some good stuff offensively but can't make anything
-[player_tooltip player_id='842237' first='Andrea' last='Waldera'] is someone to keep tabs on over the next few years

2nd half
-Blair-Taylor does not take its foot off the gas
-Their forwards are gritty and fight for everything under the rim
-Wabeno/Laona is playing better defensively and not giving up easy transition baskets
-Rebounding battle has been even, even with the game being lopsided
-Blair-Taylor and McDonell match up well with each other
-We should talk about reformatting how we work the postseason in this state

Division 2

Pewaukee vs. Lakeland

1st half
-Lakeland's size is noticeable against Pewaukee's guards and wings
-Pewaukee being up nine while being 0-12 from 3 is crazy
-Penetration from Pewaukee is easy
-Lakeland is getting beat on the glass big time
-Pirates are creating a bunch of turnovers

2nd half
-Pewaukee took 20 more shots than Lakeland did in the first half (38-18)
-Once Pewaukee got the lid off the rim, they've looked like their old selves and been on a tear offensively (5/9 from 3 after starting 0/12)
-Pewaukee can score in bunches
-Awesome experience to see the Ouimettes at state this year

Notre Dame vs. McFarland

1st half
-Notre Dame doesn't have anything for [player_tooltip player_id='209586' first='Teagan' last='Mallegni']
-McFarland has hit a lot of shots, that I don't think will last
-Notre Dame is getting caught not getting back in transition
-McFarland has been swarming every paint touch by Notre Dame
-McFarland can't miss
-[player_tooltip player_id='209586' first='Teagan' last='Mallegni']'s size is playing a significant role

2nd half
-Notre Dame's press has gotten to McFarland a little bit
-[player_tooltip player_id='157533' first='Hope' last='Barington']'s defense has been out of this world in the 2nd half
-McFarland is still getting whatever they want offensivley
-This McFarland team will get better next year
-Fayta's foul issues are worth noting going forward

Division 1

Brookfield East vs. Germantown

1st half
-KK foul trouble is something keep tabs on
-Germantown is getting offense from others
-Brookfield doesn't have much of anything working offensively
-Rebounding battle is split
-Germantown has forced nine turnovers in less than 12 minutes

2nd half
-Brookfield East is getting transition baskets off turnovers and bad misses from Germantown
-Spartans keep swinging for blocks and getting calls against them
-Unbelievable game

Hortonville vs. Kettle Moraine

1st half
-MiKalya Werner's foul trouble is significant
-Hortonville is flying all over the place
-Hortonville's defense has been absurd
-[player_tooltip player_id='206727' first='Trinity' last='Mocadlo'] has been killing KM off the dribble

2nd half
-[player_tooltip player_id='374227' first='Rainey' last='Welson'] might bring them back
-Hortonville's press is working again
-Kettle Moraine is making every timely play

I'm sticking with what I tried yesterday in having a live notebook that I update at the end of halves and games. I had fun with the idea yesterday. I hope you all enjoyed it, and I'll do it again today.
