Our journey of all-conference first team selections continues in South Jersey as we start to tread the line between South and Central Jersey with the Burlington County Scholastic League. What a great crop of players there are to select from for Prep Girls Hoops New Jersey's All-BCSL First Team list. Here's our selections for the 2022-23 season.

NOTE: This was my toughest list to pick by far. The BCSL is a deep conference of talent and there will be plenty of players rising up in the ranks to be first team performers next season.

All-BCSL First Team

[player_tooltip player_id='481575' first='Jada' last='Jacobs'] - Medford Tech (2023) *2022-23 BCSL Player of the Year

We didn't pick out a Player of the Year for the BCSL and Jacobs was mistakenly left off our South Jersey Player of the Year finalists list, but wow, what a senior season she put on for Medford Tech, a historic season for Tech. Averaging 21.6 PPG, 9.8 RPG, 3.2 APG and an insane 5.8 SPG, there was simply no stopping her on the floor at any point. Just a flat-out beast and one of the best we've seen in the conference in some time.

[player_tooltip player_id='326949' first='Riley' last='Ahrens'] - Delran (2023)

Taking on an even bigger role this season in the wake of players graduating and transferring, Ahrens seemingly did everything and anything Delran needed, which showed up in such a well-rounded game. By season's end, Ahrens averaged 16.1 PPG, 9.2 RPG, 3.5 BPG and 2.3 SPG for Delran, shattering 1K points and 100 threes, while hitting 200+ career blocks and steals each.

[player_tooltip player_id='404204' first='Brooke' last='Sztenderowicz'] - Cinnaminson (2023)

Cinnaminson had one of the craziest runs of any South Jersey team to begin this season, going a perfect 15-0 on a run to the SJ Group II final. Sztenderowicz is the reason behind that success for the Pirates, scoring a career-high 13.4 PPG while knocking down 60 three-pointers on the year. She cracked the 1000 point mark and 100 three-pointer mark this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='404449' first='Cadence' last='Anderson'] - Palmyra (2024)

Palmyra is the team that has run the Patriot division recently, and Anderson is main force behind that success. Her junior season was her best to date, averaging 15.5 PPG, 4.8 RPG, 2.5 APG, 1.3 BPG and 3.9 SPG on the year. Her three-point consistency also went up, an exciting sign for next season with the Panthers.

[player_tooltip player_id='404215' first='Payton' last='Arnold'] - New Egypt (2023)

Arnold has been the backbone of New Egypt in recent years, the conductor of the train, the engine and heart beat of the Warriors, so leave it to her to finish her high school career with a bang. She averaged 17.4 PPG, 4.2 RPG, 2.5 SPG and an insane 3 made three-pointers a game (78 on the season), joining the 1000 point club and finishing with 170 threes overall.

[player_tooltip player_id='134656' first='Gabby' last='Loftin'] - Florence (2023)

Florence had a down year as a team, but Loftin quite literally put the team on her back, scoring nearly 42 percent of her team's points on the season. Averaging just under 23 PPG along with 1.9 BPG and 4.4 SPG, she was near-unstoppable on the floor, excelling in a number of difference ways. Just a special talent, flat-out.
