The 5'10 guard has had a busy few weeks, ending the season with a 5A title and now stepping into the spring as one of the notable standout players. She possesses a fluid, compact form that is just too quick for most opposing guards to defend. Another key trait from Moyers' showcase came from her outlet passes, finding teammates through near fullcourt throws with one hand. As one of the taller guards at this event, she proved capable defending just about every position outside of the more powerful forwards. For reference, with Roosevelt, Moyers put up 11.7 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2.3 steals per game while knocking down 42% of her triples.

[player_tooltip player_id='361566' first='Eianna' last='Jackson'] - Vista PEAK Prep - 2025

Jackson brought constant energy for her team, exemplifying a fast paced style of play. The 5'8 lead guard has long strides that allow to accelerate quickly, part of the reason she excelled in the open floor. Jackson made use of her initial advantages to get downhill, utilizing crafty euros and gather steps to maneuver around interior defenders. Her highest upside trait will be her shooting ability, luckily for her, she knocked down multiple threes throughout this event. One area Jackson is simply dangerous is perimeter defense, possessing a long reach and quick instincts. She did great ripping the ball away in help defense or tipping it away while on the ball. Back with 15-10 Vista PEAK Prep, Jackson put up 16.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 2.8 steals per game.

D'Ahja Horton - Rangeview - 2024

Horton brought her usual physicality under the rim while displaying improvements handling the ball under pressure. At roughly 5'11, the small forward got to the rim under a variety of circumstances, both on and off the ball. On multiple occassions, Horton got past defenders out of rip throughs and crossovers, additionally demonstrating strength finishing through contact. Horton has tangible strength on the defensive end, blocking multiple shots per game throughout this event. Although not the quickest per say, Horton does an excellent job shifting her hips to turn the corner against on-ball defenders. Through Rangeview's 16-8 season, Horton put up 12.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='331322' first='Gabby' last='Jima'] - Frederick - 2024

Jima has continued improving her on-ball decisionmaking while building off of her strong foundation as a physical perimeter threat. The 5'6 2024 guard did great leveraging her strength to attract doubles or put help side defense in tough positions. She was notable finding cutters along the baseline, doing well to target those passes in the pocket. Throughout this event, Jima was a pest on the glass, grabbing three or more offensive rebounds per game. Through her junior season with 13-12 Frederick, she put up 7.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.1 steals per game. Her willingness attempting threes next season will be a key aspect of her offensive upside.
