Desta Trammell is the definition of a scoring point guard. She handles the ball efficiently knowing exactly where to place it to score some points for her team whether she is making a nice dish or she is setting herself up for her own shot. She has a nice shot from deep making defenders regret getting off their feet from her shot fakes. Her Euro is fun to watch on the way to the hoop making some nice adjustments at the rim to score even through contact. She’s quick on defense jumping into passing lanes to grab the steal.
Addie Phipps has taken full advantage of being back on the court for her senior season. She sees lanes open up before they even happen knowing how to throw up a fake to move around her opponent on her way to some points. She doesn’t need to drive, though, as she has a nice stroke from deep. On defense, she’s disruptive always being around to slow down her opponents and deflect passes as they try to push it up the court.
Highlights
Kirsten Watt is so quick with her movements exploding to the ball on both ends of the court. She finds ways to get rebounds on defense and pushes it up the court before her opponents seem to know what is happening. She’s an excellent facilitator finding ways to get all of her teammates involved dishing them the ball underneath the basket or making long passes to increase the tempo. She will make you pay if you think you can leave her open around the perimeter.
Jordyn Latter has been making contributions for her team her entire high school career as she has a finesse with the ball using in and out moves and crossovers to lose her defenders. She is quick without the ball, too, constantly finding the gaps and making the defense shift. She attacks the basket scoring at the rim, and she can certainly pull up for jump shots no matter whose hands are in her face.
Ka’Nyah O’Neal is actually a 2000 point scorer, and that feat is mind-blowing until you actually watch her play. She has an effective behind the back dribble getting her opponent off balance enough to pull up for her jump shot. Her drives to the basket are aggressive losing her defenders as she finishes at the rim. She follows shots going after rebounds finding other ways to contribute.
Ja’Kea Brunson seems to always play with a calm composure as if she knows what she is fully capable of. Her senior season ended as runner up in the state championship game against a tough Grace Christian team, but Brunson left it all out on the court. She was knocking down shots throughout the game from around the perimeter knowing how to find the openings or create space on her own for the shot. Her IQ was on display on defense being able to anticipate what her opponents will do and block shots or step in front of passes.

Nevaeh Colon has a lethal step back move that is for sure to create space where she can show off her range shooting the ball. In addition to points, she is sure to find ways to get her teammates the ball for them to score, and she gets inside to grab rebounds on both ends of the court. Her court vision is excellent on both ends being able to find the right lanes on offense and jump in front of passes to grab steals on defense.
