Held at the home of Tennessee Tech, fans in the stands were treated to two great games that featured some highly-touted female basketball players that we have in this state. The girls that suited up, didn’t disappoint, as they laid everything they had on the line. In the end, each team did go home with a trophy, yet only one squad could take home that all-mighty gold ball.
In Single A, Webb-Bell Buckle continued their dominance as they beat MTCS 73-43. This matchup was one that both squads were familiar with. Playing each other for the 4th time this year, it was the Lady Feet taking home the trophy yet again. This school has been phenomenal these last couple of years, displaying a tenacious attack that has left opponents in the dust. Dynasty? You betcha, this squad continued their reign as one of the best programs in the state.
Led by Aalyah Del Rosario Aalyah Del Rosario 6'5" | C Webb- Bell Buckle | 2023 State #5 Nation TN , the LSU commit scored 21 points from the field to go along with 13 boards. She was the anchor in the middle that couldn’t be stopped. Rhema Collins Rhema Collins 6'2" | SF Webb Bell-Buckle | 2023 State TN , the Ole Miss commit, was the second leading scorer with 13 points and 14 boards. Her relentless energy and tenacity helped the Lady Feet any type of momentum the MTCS Lady Cougars had. In the end, the blue and gold were just too much to handle. Webb repeats and rides off into the sunset. This senior class will probably go down as one of the best in Tennessee history.
In Double AA, it was the Knox Catholic Fighting Irish taking the crown. This game was such an eventful one, with two blue chip players going toe to toe. Trading buckets back and forth, this was truly an exciting championship game to watch.

led the Lady Irish, dropping 33 points and grabbing 6 boards along the way. She was on fire as she produced time and time again. Hot, no no, she was on fire. Coming back from an injury early on in the season, she wouldn’t be denied this shot at redemption as she led the way for her club. Amaya Redd contributed with 14 points and 7 boards, as the Lady Irish defeated the Lady Tigers 64-59.
