We have some new kids that emerged and put us on notice that they were worthy of being in this rankings edition, here are the list and evaluations of these kids, we appreciate your support by subscribing and reading our evaluations on these kids.
Taylor is a beast, she comes in with some great height, some good skill set for the game and is a true player through and through. She uses her length and her skillset to get the job done on the floor, she has pretty good ball control, nice soft hands and is athletic enough right now for the next level in our opinion. She did some good things on the floor the times we watched her this year and we believe she should added to our rankings this edition and land in a pretty good spot, stay tuned.
Highlights
Dave Yapkowitz had this to say about Kylah Baker Kylah Baker 5’4″ | PG Sonora | 2025 State CA , “Baker is a quick little point guard. Can break a defensive press and does well against defensive pressure. Does a good job getting downhill and attacking; able to draw contact at the basket and get to the free-throw line consistently. Always looking to push the pace in transition. Very decisive with the ball in her hands, makes quick moves to keep the defense guessing. Defensively, solid on ball and fights through screens well. We both believe she should be added to the rankings edition.
Dave Yapkowitz had this to say about Alijah Stewart Alijah Stewart 5’9″ | SF Long Beach Poly | 2025 State CA , “Stewart has good size and some solid upside as a big. She can establish good position in the post, just has to be able to seal and hold it. She can step out and shoot the midrange jumper consistently. Able to score in the paint when in close enough. She also can hit the turnaround jumper in the paint. Defensively she’s solid on ball and slides her feet well to keep up with the ball-handler. She is a geniune addition to our rankings this go around.
Juliette impressed us some much in the State Finals, that we knew we had to add her to the rankings edition this time around. She is dynamic scorer, she can handle the ball with good consistency and she is a good rebounder in the paint. She put on a show for us with a very solid performance in the finals, they did not get the ship, but she was impressive enough for this recognition an we will keep our eyes on her for the club season.
Illicia also made some great decisions in the State Finals for her team, she is a nice size guard that knows how to run her team and has a fairly well basketball IQ. She made some shots, handled the ball very well and cashed in on a solid performance that allowed her team to capture the State Title this season and we know that must feel really good to end the season on top. That is why we are adding to the rankings this term, she put in the work and it was recognized.
Vivian is another guard for Fresno Central that is solid on the floor, knows how to play the game and is patient on the floor throughout the game. She can handle, she can score and she is capable of playing some good defense. This made us add her to the rankings this term, she put in a solid performance in the State Finals as well, just like her teammate we added earlier.
