Basketball runs in the DNA of Kyra McAlarnis her mother is the current Head Coach and former player at Perry County Central, which was known as M.C. Napier back in the day. She won a state championship under the coach she replaced, long-time legendary coach Randy Napier. McAlarnis had a superb sophomore season she was the second leading scorer for the Lady Commodores putting up 15.5 points. She also led the team in rebounds with 6.3. McAlarnis is a deadly outside shooter that can hit shots from way behind the three point line. Her best game of the season was against Powell County she dropped 27 points including 5 triples. Making the move from Lincoln County to Danville Christian is turning out really well for Alexia Baldock Alexia Baldock 5'8" | PG Lincoln County | 2025 State KY . The Lady Warriors finished 3rd in the 12th region posting a 20-7 record on the season. Baldock averaged 9.4 points, 4 rebounds along with several assist and steals per game. She also led the team in free throw percentage shooting 69.6% at the line going 78-112 for the season. Baldock is a 3 & D point guard with a fluid shooting stoke that can spot up and hit the three very consistently. She’s a great on-ball defender as well that likes to play aggressive and cause turnovers.
Aymanni Wynn Aymanni Wynn 5'7" | PG Harlan | 2025 State KY stands at around 5’11 and plays predominately as a wing player now. She is a member of the 1,000 point and 500 rebound club as a sophomore for Harlan High School. She averaged 18.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.7 assist, and 3.4 steals per game leading the team in all statistical categories. Wynn is a prolific scorer that can get a bucket at all three levels. She competes hard on both ends and never takes a possession off. You can catch her hooping for the Tennessee Flight Trotters (Armes) this summer.
Riley Sword Riley Sword 5'8" | PG Madisonville-North Hopkins | 2025 State KY is a score-first point guard that can create her own shot off the dribble as well as catch and shoot. She averaged 9.8 points per game this season for Madisonville-North Hopkins. Sword really knows how to get a bucket she uses her speed, quickness, and tremendous ball handling skills to get her shoulders past defenders to score at the rim or to find space to get off a floater in the lane. She also has a nice dribble pull-up jumper that’s really hard to defend with her quick release. Sword has great upside you will hear her name a lot more next season.
Nariyah Crowe Nariyah Crowe 5'7" | PG Bardstown | 2025 State KY averaged 7.5 points per game and led Bardstown in rebounds with 7.3. Crowe can impact the game in an array of ways she can hit shots from the perimeter when she gets a good look, drive the line to score, and wreak havoc on defense by using active hands and applying ball pressure. I like the effort she gives on the glass for a guard she can rebound at a very high level. Crowe plays hard on both ends of the floor I can see her numbers going way up next season.
