While her main objective is to get to the hoop, Dean does have upside as an outside shooter. Defensively, Amariah is gifted enough to guard 1-5.
Named Forsyth County Rookie of the Year, the freshman averaged 5 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game. Gliatta has good size on the perimeter with long arms which make her seem taller than she really is. Gabbie is a strong perimeter shooter and a heady creator.
Highlights
It didn’t take long for Bensman to make an immediate impact at the varsity level as a freshman, leading Pope in scoring at 10.5 points per game while adding 5.7 rebounds. Abbey is a knockdown shooter who can also get to the rim off the dribble.
Glahn played an important role in Mt. Pisgah’s turnaround season, averaging 9.6 points and 3.6 rebounds. The physically strong guard can play multiple positions around the perimeter. She does a good job getting to the hoop and absorbing contact. Sydney should see an uptick in her scoring chances with Monet Dance Monet Dance 5’7″ | PG Mt. Pisgah | 2023 State GA graduated.
I like what I saw from Hill earlier this offseason. She has a good frame, sturdy and athletic. On the block she has a good feel, understanding how defenses are guarding her and able to choose from a variety of post moves. Arianna scores in traffic and is an anchor in the paint on defense. Don’t sleep on the rising sophomore from Lyons. She looks well on her way to becoming a college prospect.
