We continue our ongoing AAU preview series in this article below. Tournaments are taking place across the country and across the Garden State, with plenty of teams and players involved. We have yet to take about the NJ Panthers for Prep Girls Hoops New Jersey this AAU season, which is exactly what this article will do. We begin with the 15U Black team.

[player_tooltip player_id='601336' first='Nikki' last='Costantini'] - Hunterdon Central (2026)

A strong freshman season from Costantini last season, she came onto the scene for Hunterdon Central off the bench or fighting for a fringe starter spot, and produced well offensively. Nearly averaging one made three-pointer a game, she has that level of consistency within her. Able to shoot in a plethora of different situations, hitting bulk threes a game seems like a role that would suit her well in the long run.

[player_tooltip player_id='964990' first='Riley' last='Ng'] - Mount St. Mary (2026)

Another potential three-point shooter in bulk, Ng didn't get much playing time at the beginning of the season for Mount St. Mary, but more than made a name for herself in the back-half of the season. Her final eight games stand out, showcasing that she can get to the basket and haul in a rebound, or she can knock down some high-leverage shots when need be. We definitely see a potential double-digit scorer in her.

[player_tooltip player_id='635514' first='Imani' last='Mullings'] - Plainfield (2026)

One of the stronger scorers and all-around players on this team, Mullings showcased her worth on the basketball court as a freshman in a number of ways for Plainfield. Arguably her best asset as a player so far is her passing, averaging 3.3 assists a game last season. The scoring is no doubt there, scoring 8.8 points a game for Plainfield, but her ability to seek out teammates and find open players for a potential scoring situation is that much more important.

[player_tooltip player_id='601333' first='Megan' last='Logan'] - Westfield (2026)

Logan's freshman season couldn't have come at a better time for Westfield as a number of Blue Devils are graduating this season. That's left quite the void down on the post and just in the frontcourt in general that they will have to fill. Enter Logan, a forward with a lot of promise and already a great rebounding ability, not to mention one of the best shot-blockers on the team last season and a strong overall defender.

[player_tooltip player_id='601334' first='Alissa' last='Myers'] - Franklin (2026)

Myers is your prototypical point guard, a player who can help spread the floor, can make shots, rebound, pass, and plays great perimeter defense for her team. She's showcased more than just fitting in that archetype as a freshman and made some great strides when it comes to how she'll play down the road. The beginning of her season was strong, but that success didn't necessarily translate into the back-half of the year. This summer is the time to nail down leadership skills at the point and just playing with confidence overall.

[player_tooltip player_id='601520' first='Allison' last='Snyder'] - Glen Ridge (2026)

All we can say about Snyder's play last season, especially her defensive play, is just wow. Freshman don't usually come in and have that strong of an impact on either side of the ball, but she was a shot-blocking machine, averaging 2.3 BPG and 1.9 SPG for Glen Ridge. Her scoring is still coming along, but she's demonstrated the potential of being a double-double player, something we expect to see come her junior year for sure and potentially next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='601348' first='Mia' last='Vergel de Dios'] - Glen Rock (2026)

Vergel de Dios has the potential to make noise this AAU season because of what we saw from her in the winter/spring, a double-double player at times, but just a strong, aggressive scorer that gets to the line a lot. A plus to her game is that ability to draw and create contact in the lane, and she hasn't been afraid to try to play through it and get the basket on the other side.

[player_tooltip player_id='601519' first='Annabel' last='Koss-Defrank'] - Glen Ridge (2026)

Not just a double-double machine, but a triple-double machine at that, with one already under her belt in high school, Koss-Defrank is that combination of size and finesse that a team wants to be successful. Her key this summer is working on overall aggression down low and consistently making baskets. She's going to be relied upon for Glen Ridge to score in the paint, so getting those chances and converting on them consistency should be her focus.
