Betsy Gillespie (Air Minnesota 2026)- Betsy will be in the conversation for one of the top players in every tournament she’s in. Talking to other scouts and directors, she is one of the best players every weekend with her playmaking ability. Her shiftiness with the ball and explosiveness allow her to get to her spots and score.
Madalynne Mclaughlin (Air Minnesota 2026)- When you talk about someone being a crafty finisher and really good at reading the second defender you have to put Madalynne in the conversation. Multiple possessions in her games that she got by the first defender and euro step or finished off 2 feet against the second defender. It’s not often time players make that read but McLaughlin makes it look easy executing it.
Da’Nyla Tatum (Team Factory)- Don’t close out with a hand down on Tatum when she’s looking to shoot it. She has a good shot on her and loves to knock it down off the catch from the mid-range or threes. When she knocks it down she is not done, stay away from her side when she’s on the defensive end. Tatum is a pest and always finds a way to get the ball back for her Factory team.
Vanna Reitsma (NE Attack 2026 Select)- Vanna was a magician with the basketball for this attack team. Her ability to get downhill in the half-court set to create scoring opportunities for herself and others really set her apart. She had a really good cross jab to get downhill and finished up the middle in the front of the rim or kicked it to the corner for her shooter.
Malia Abrahams (NE Attack 2026 Select)- Malia had ice in her veins Saturday with her ability to come through clutch for her Nebraska Attack team. She came up clutch for her team knocking down huge 2 back-to-back 3s to give them a late lead. Abrahams seem to be in the right spot at the right time all day for her attack team.
