Karlee really impressed during the event’s opening night showing off her talent at the guard spot. Karlee is a true PG that does a great job running the team’s offense and has a sixth sense for knowing where her teammates are and putting them in position to score. She displayed a ton of speed as she was able to blow by defenders which continuously caused the defense to collapse. She is an obvious unselfish player that will always look to get others involved first.
Highlights
Myla is a utility player that can can play and defend a multitude of positions. She is an excellent transition ball handler and has the speed to get up the floor on the break. She showed a strong knack on driving on the baseline to get to the rim and draw fouls from defenders.
Laken continues to be impressive down in the paint with her strength. She really excels with her back to the basket and uses her body well to back down opponents and go up for two or draw fouls. She had a few plays where she was able to grab rebounds and get the ball back up despite being surrounded by multiple defenders.
Highlights
Khloe Miller
Khloe Miller
You won’t find many 6’3 players that can run the floor like a guard. Khloe is very unique in that despite her size, she is very smooth in her movement. She has no problem sliding her feet to switch out on the pick and role and can guard much smaller players. She plays excellent ball denial defense, using her length to force everything away from the basket and is an above average rebounder and shot blocker.
Damireona is an enforcer. She provides an extremely strong presence in the middle and is near unstoppable when she gets the ball in her hands under the basket. She puts the ball up strong after the catch and has hands like magnets when it comes to rebounding. Colleges in need of a dominant post player must have Damireona on their radar.
“Big Shot Barker”, as I like to call her, continues to play basketball at an extremely high level. You will not find a lot of weaknesses in her game. She is a multi -level scorer who just appears to be playing at a different speed than everyone else on the court. Her incredible footwork allows her to drive by defenders with ease and she can quickly find open teammates. She defends at a high level and is never afraid of the big moment. She is a natural scorer that knows exactly when to get others involved and when she needs to take over a game.
