With all of the attention and commercials given to the new Dungeons & Dragons movie that recently hit box offices, I wanted to have a little fun. Now, this might be a bit of a stretch, but in this two-article rundown, below is a look at a handful of prospects who attend high schools with the nickname "Knights". All of the Lady Knights below are worth checking out on the hardwood very soon.

[player_tooltip player_id='127232' first='MaKaya' last='Porter'], 2023, 5-11 F, Mishawaka Marian H.S.
- MaKaya had a really nice high school career going, she was selected as a Junior All-Star last Spring, and then she suffered a knee injury that kept her from playing in the "live" recruiting periods and limited her to just a handful of games at the end of the 2022-2023 season. She is a strong, physical, but active and athletic forward who can play at all three levels. MaKaya has committed to play at Wabash Valley College.

[player_tooltip player_id='264113' first='Kennedy' last='Fuelling'], 2024, 5-7 G, Norwell H.S.
- Kennedy had an outstanding 2022-2023 season, and she will likely graduate next year as one of the best Norwell Lady Knights to ever don their uniform. This season, she averaged 22.6 points per game, while shooting a strong 44% (80-183) from 3-point range. She was also a stellar 86% (50-58) from the charity stripe. Kennedy also made the Junior All-Star team and will be playing for OPS Black this Spring.

[player_tooltip player_id='177342' first='Addisen' last='Mastriano'], 2024, 6-3 C, Northeastern H.S.
- Addisen is a big, strong, physical post player who has an old school game. She loves to seek physicality around the block, and she can score it consistently at the basket. But she has also worked to develop her face-up game, and she can stretch her range to the 3-point line from time to time. She averaged 15.2 points per game on a well-balanced Northeastern team. She suits up in the Spring for [program_tooltip program_id='716173' first='Always' last='100'] 3SSB.

[player_tooltip player_id='298259' first='Addie' last='Shank'], 2024, 6-0 F, Bishop Luers H.S.
- Addie has cemented herself as one of the better interior players in Indiana's 2024 class. She is strong and physical, plus she has nice skill in the mid-post. She can knock down the 15-footer or bury people on the block. She also plays with a good motor and rebounds & defends with great effort. At 13.4 point and 9.3 rebounds per game, some of the Midwest's elite small colleges will likely follow her with [program_tooltip program_id='716173' first='Always' last='100']-Paul.

[player_tooltip player_id='295785' first='Carley' last='Barrett'], 2025, 5-9 G, Lafayette Central Catholic H.S.
- Carley has already logged two seasons as a Varsity starter, and she has become a centerpiece for this Lady Knight squad. She is long, fluidly athletic, and she can get to the rim at will. She's also an effortful and effective defender. Her 15.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game were crucial to LCC's success this season, and she will be even more impactful next year. She plays with [program_tooltip program_id='712566' first='Indiana' last='Elite'] Prime.

[player_tooltip player_id='486494' first='Jayden' last='Scott'], 2026, 5-11 F, Castle H.S.
- Being a Castle Knight is almost too "on the nose", but nickname aside, Jayden has really grown and improved her game over the past 12-18 months. She is extremely long, athletic, and she has some bounce to her. She is capable of playing around the perimeter and knocking down the 3-pointer (46-125, 37% in 2022-2023), but she's also great in the mid-post. She can be seen with [program_tooltip program_id='712550' first='IGB' last=''] UA Rise-Scott this Spring.
