Audrey Norville Audrey Norville 5'10" | SF St. Mary Catholic | 2024 State WI
Norville came over to Wisconsin Blaze for her final run in AAU, and she’s someone I liked last season when I saw her in the April Live Period. I watch plenty of kids and wish they played with more aggression, and I’ve never felt an ounce of that about the St. Mary Catholic product. She isn’t afraid to attack the rim and play through contact or drive to make a play. She’s a 5-10 athlete that is comfortable on the wing and loves to compete.
Annika Salettel Annika Salettel 5'11" | SG Beaver Dam | 2024 State WI
Coming off a severe injury isn’t easy, and it won’t be for Salettel, but I thought she was excellent the first time I saw her post-injury at Center Court. The Beaver Dam native was able to do what she does best and space the floor. She’ll improve with time, get more comfortable with the personnel and system she’s playing in, and look better every week.
What makes Berg so appealing is that she’ll never lose her team a game. She makes good decisions with the ball, makes open shots, moves the ball, and doesn’t turn the ball over often. Berg does an excellent job using screens and shooting when kids go under screens (mainly occurs in AAU when kids don’t know who the Menomonie native is) but makes quick decisions on the fly in situations like that. I think she’ll play winning basketball when she gets to the next level and help a team improve by maintaining the flow of a game and earning her coach’s trust early on when she first starts practicing.
The Catholic Memorial Guard can change the course of a game with her shooting. Conway is confident and is willing to shoot off the dribble without much room to get her shot off. Her release is quick, consistent, and repeatable. She doesn’t care where her defender is as long as she feels she can get a shot up. Her scouting report probably said not to give her space, and she still succeeded in a talented Classic 8 Conference. She finds a way to get shots up wherever she goes.
