We’ve touched on various positions and All-tournament teams already. Here, we are focusing on players who stood out playing tough defense and making their own offensive plays.
Jasmine Utley Jasmine Utley 5’3″ | PG South Garner | 2024 NC hustled back in transition getting her hands in the face of her opponent as she tried to drive to the hoop. She came down with the rebound immediately pushing it up the court blowing by her defenders and earning a trip to the free throw line. She continued to show her quickness with the ball using her speed on defense to create some points on offense.
Highlights
Krystal Haddock Krystal Haddock 5’10” | CG NC GBB | 2024 State NC showed excellent on ball defense knocking the pass away and pushing it right up the court making a nice bounce pass in stride to her teammate. She fills in the lanes in transition being ready for the pass and some fast break points. She made herself a big target for the entry pass which resulted in a three point play from the free throw line.
Molli Harris Molli Harris 5’7″ | PG St Stephens | 2024 NC showed off her range shooting the ball relocating to the open spot after her pass and getting the ball right back to score. She jumped in front of passes with ease deflecting them for some steals as she was anticipating what her opponents would try to do. On both ends of the court, she constantly moves to make sure she is shifting her opponents where she wants them to go.

Kariana Lee
Kariana Lee attacked the basket maneuvering around her opponents on fast breaks. She did a nice job finding the open lanes and attacking the gaps with some nice passes to her teammates. She was a ball hawk on defense coming up with the steals and deflecting passes.
Brynn Brickey
Brynn Brickey
Brynn Brickey was a tough on ball defender making the strip and pushing it the other direction. She did a nice job attacking the basket and drawing fouls. She showed off her range shooting the ball, too.
