Krystal Haddock Krystal Haddock 5'10" | CG NC GBB | 2024 State NC is doing it all for NC GBB Academy in Durham. She is an exceptional passer and she handles the basketball well in the open court. Haddock is an unselfish player who is willing to make the best play for her team at all times. She is currently leading the state in assists per game. Haddock is passing for over 7 assists per night. On defense, she is a lockdown defender. She pressures the basketball and creates multiple scoring opportunities for her squad each game. Haddock is a glue player that does whatever it takes for her team to win the game. 

Krystal Haddock is a guard who will do everything her team needs her to on the court.  She does all of the little things like running plays well, timing her cuts, and drawing defenders towards her to open up some space for her teammates.  She’s a tough defender being able to keep her opponent in front of her protecting the basket and knocking the ball away from guards trying to dribble by her.

Krystal Haddock is a strong on ball defender locking down her opponent and blocking the path as they try to get around her to the basket.  When she’s playing offense herself, she shows how she can score on all levels finishing well at the rim and pulling up for jumpers from deep.  She is sure to rack up other stats while playing in addition to scoring like assists and rebounds as she does a little bit of everything for her team.

Krystal Haddock Krystal Haddock 5'10" | CG NC GBB | 2024 State NC was not backing down from anyone attacking the basket making old fashioned three point plays.  She was doing a great job evaluating what the defense was giving her attacking the basket and knowing when to make the dish.  She kept her opponent in front of her while she was on defense making sure they didn’t see an easy basket.  This was against the opposing team’s best player, too.

You have to love the overall skillset that Krystal brings to the court. She excels on the defensive end and she  knows how to fit into any offensive set. She can play on or off the ball and can be seen directing traffic for her team. She can score when she needs to but also does a great job finding her teammates to help them get baskets. She knows where everyone is supposed to be and she is very involved in plays even when she doesn’t have the ball in her hands. 

Krystal Haddock Krystal Haddock 5'10" | CG NC GBB | 2024 State NC showed excellent on ball defense knocking the pass away and pushing it right up the court making a nice bounce pass in stride to her teammate.  She fills in the lanes in transition being ready for the pass and some fast break points.  She made herself a big target for the entry pass which resulted in a three point play from the free throw line.
