As I close out my coverage from the event, here are some other players that grabbed my attention
Anniyah Navarro
Anniyah Navarro
Navarro has SWTB, speed with the ball, and as she blazes down the court while being defended, she stays under control. I enjoyed her “thinking the game” and making good decisions yet her court vision both in set as well as in the open court were also nice. She did a good job attacking the basket and finishing after contact, plus her “on the ball” defense was hot

Anna McCarn Anna McCarn 6'4" | C Mt. Home | 2025 State AR
McCarn stands over “the magic number” which in case you didn’t know is 6’0. Why is it magic? Because over the years I have received countless calls from college coaches for those type of players. She scores around the basket and her hands and footwork were very nice, but was just as nice is she could attack off the dribble and finish. She also rebounded on both ends and has good timing, as well as upside
Watie showed me a lot in a short span of time in the first game and even more as I caught her squad multiple games afterward. I use the hashtag #sizedontmatter when players can play and she can play. She’s poised handling the ball under pressure, nice court vison while being defended and she scored off the dribble. She also scored from outside and watching her “catch and shoot” with accuracy from deep was solid
Alexus Browlow
Alexus Browlow
Brownlow is “long and athletic” and in case you haven’t followed me, I call that the base. That’s because not only do I love evaluating that profile, so do college coaches so what were her intangibles. First of all, she goes after the ball off the rim and outrebounds players taller than her because of her desire. She defended inside the paint, as well as on the perimeter and she scored off the dribble as well as on putbacks
Destiny Alexander
Destiny Alexander
Alexander is also “long and athletic” and a shade under “the magic number” so that’s double trouble before the intangibles. Peep this, she also has UPS, as in elevating off the floor and her timing JUST DID IT for me as she blocked, altered and (or) deflected shots. She also rebounded, on both ends, did a good job defending and scored around the basket
Ma’leah Duvall
Ma’leah Duvall
Duvall sold me the first time I caught her a few seasons ago and watching her drop around 40 in a game during the July viewing period showed me she could flat out take over games and put her team on her back. She has more firepower and doesn’t need to score to be effective, she runs her team, controls the tempo and since she has good court vision, that’s another plus. Don’t get it twisted, when needed, the mid to long range and off the dribble for baskets are still there
Ringgold is showing PLATINUM upside, yeah I love to play on words but watching her play on the court the past two seasons tells me she’s been working because I see her progression. She stands at “the magic number” yet her scoring around the basket in the paint as well as attacking strongly off the dribble, finishing either way after contact, has gotten better. She rebounds and runs the floor on both ends and has good timing defensively
Highlights
Nariah Johnson
Nariah Johnson
Johnson was another #sizedontmatter guard that showed she could play, multiple times. On day 2 she asked me if I was watching her team and I told her I caught them on opening day yet I made a cameo appearance on Sunday and her energy trickles down to her teammates. She goes hard on both ends, her “on the ball” defense is really nice but so is her court vision as well as ball handling. She scored off the dribble, and dropped the midrange
