She scored 35 in the Crabbers 12 point win over Pulaski County in the state championship game! Harris, who had multiple scholarship offers is already committed to play next season for George Mason University. A season from start to finish that was played at an elite level and she finishes her high school career as a top three player in the state!
One of the most physical presences in the front court players in the 2023 class! Has good size and athleticism, she is a physical rebounder who gets off the floor fast for put-backs. A throwback power forward that has added a midrange game and who has gone head to head with some of the top bigs in the country during her two high school seasons. Melissa’s game has developed and gotten better since last year and she can score in different ways from outside the paint. Had a great two year run where she played a bigger role and carried the load at S3 Academy now she will continue her college career at The University of Richmond!
One of the most versatile players during her high school career at 5’11 with a college frame, Diamond can essentially do it all at different positions on both sides of the ball! A great defender that can lock down any high level player, good footwork and body control at her size. A physical player that can be a stat stuffer that has no problem finishing through contact and has consistently improved her three point shooting! First team all state honors great high school career she is signed to play division one basketball at Monmouth University!
Has always known to be a great shooter but as she consistently developed to be one of the top scorers in the state of Virginia! With over 2000 points in her career is not an easy task when so many teams already know that you’re the number one option! Her scoring production steadily increased every year averaging 27 points a game this season was big for a team that lost a division one player. Great size for a shooting guard, a knockdown shooter that has developed to be more of a ball handler and improved her defense. First team all VISAA was an early signee to Purdue Fort Wayne!
An athletic and very effective player that took her great AAU season momentum into her high school season! Long tall frame that led her team in scoring this season can hit the mid-range jumper and three-pointer as well. Was the best player also and is the glue piece that held Pulaski together all season. They made it all the way to the state championship where they fell to a hot Hampton high school team. Pulaski got off to a slow start but Secrist played big and Pulaski got back in the game to make it close, Keslyn finished with 22 points and 12 rebounds to end her career now she’s headed to Indiana State University.
