Lakeisha Robinson Lakeisha Robinson 5'6" | SF Cesar Chavez | 2025 State AZ – is a 5-6 sophomore small forward for Cesar Chavez High School. In 29 games last season, she averaged 10.6 points per game as well as 8.5 rebounds, and 3,0 steals. Chavez lost to Chandler in last February’s AIA State Tournament, 62-47. She had a number of double-doubles during the regular season in addition to three fast-break baskets vs. Coronado and five steals in a game against Shadow Ridge. Her time in the 100-yard dash is 13.7. Lakeisha also plays with her club team, Arizona Pride, and plays a national tournament schedule in both the spring and summer.
EVALUATION: Lakeisha had a great season as a sophomore forward at Chavez High School. She not only averaged nearly 11 points a game but also contributed a number of double-doubles and had five steals in one game. She is an extremely fast player who uses her hands and feet on defense to cause steals, deflections, and turnovers. She also runs the fast break with authority. She should be ready for a great year in 2023-24.
TILLEY CUNNARD – is a 5-8 sophomore forward for Mesa High School as well as her club team, Team Arizona. She was selected as a member of the East Valley All-Region Defensive team. One scout commented on her defense: “Tilley is a beast on defense. She will fight for every loose ball, deflect anything within reach, and works her butt off.” The Lady Jackrabbits lost in the AIA tournament last winter to eventual state champion, Valley Vista, 69-45. Mesa finished with an overall 18-12 record and 8-2 in their division. Tilley will be playing an extensive club schedule during the spring and summer months including the Hoops Summer Invitational of 32.
EVALUATION: Tilley has improved her offensive shooting and ball handling since her freshman year at Mesa. Where she really shines is defensively. She has been called a ‘defensive beast’ and has a motor that is always running at 100%. Now getting ready for her junior year, Tilley has become a team leader for the Lady Jackrabbits and is beginning to come into her own.
Lucy Fisher Lucy Fisher 5'11" | SF Mesquite | 2025 State AZ – is a 5-11 small forward for Mesquite High School in Gilbert. She averaged 6.5 points and 7.5 rebounds last season. Mesquite lost to Pueblo. 52-48, in the AIA State Tournament although Lucy scored 10 points in the loss. She hit on 49% of her two-point field goals in 2022-23. As a freshman, she alternated between the JV and the varsity and this past year was nominated twice for the WaFd Bank Arizona Girls Basketball Player of the Week. In one nomination, she had a double-double with 17 points and 15 rebounds in a win over Arcadia, 71-34. On another nomination, she had one game that included 10 points and 13 rebounds, and in another game, 14 and 8.
EVALUATION: Lucy is a 5-11 small forward who averaged 6.5 points and 7.5 rebounds for Mesquite as a sophomore. She also had a number of double-doubles and was nominated twice for the Arizona Girls High School Player of the Week. She is a tenacious defender who has significantly improved her offensive game in both shooting and ball-handling. She should be ready for a breakout season this fall.
NEVAEH URENDA – is a 5-7 sophomore small forward for Flowing Wells High School. In 26 games, she averaged 9.0 points per game, 4.4 assists, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.9 steals. Playing in Conference 4A, Flowing Wells lost to Deer Valley, 46-31, in the AIA State Tournament. As a freshman, playing in 31 games, she averaged 6.0 points and 3.8 rebounds. In last January’s MLK Classic, Nevaeh had a team-high 13 points in a 53-43 win over Pueblo. For the week of January 18-24, she was nominated by AZCentral as the Arizona Girls Player of the Week.
EVALUATION; Nevaeh has improved her overall game in the last year, both offensively and defensively. She had a team-high 4.4 assists and was the leading playmaker for the Lady Cabs. She has also become a vocal and team leader for Flowing Wells. Nevaeh is also a gritty defender and will often guard her opponent’s top scorer. She should be ready for an outstanding junior year.
Amanda Wiley Amanda Wiley 5'10" | SF Yuma Catholic | 2025 State AZ – is a 5-10 sophomore small forward from Yuma Catholic High School. She also plays on the volleyball team. In 28 games last season, she averaged 15.5 points per game along with 8.9 rebounds and 2.3 steals. Yuma Catholic lost in the AIA tournament to Show Low, 46-39. As a freshman, Amanda averaged 14.0 points per game to go along with 6.7 rebounds and 2.5 steals. A versatile player, she can play any position on the floor.
EVALUATION: Amanda is listed as a 5-10 sophomore but she is versatile enough to play guard or in the post. She had an outstanding sophomore season, averaging 15.5 points and 8.9 rebounds. She helped lead the Lady Shamrocks to the 3A State Championship game. Amanda is also a tenacious defender and now is assuming more of a leadership role for Yuma Catholic as she approaches her junior year.
