Tumwater
Regan suffered a season ending knee injury during the playoffs this season. She did a lot of damage before the fact, setting a single season school record for steals. She was no doubt a game changer on defense for Tumwater. Her ball pressure wreaked havoc, causing turnover after turnover. Her lateral quickness is outstanding. She is a ball hawk. On offense, she was the primary scorer for much of the season, especially with Kylie Waltermeyer Kylie Waltermeyer 5’9″ | SG Tumwater | 2023 State WA missing time due to injury. She has a good mid-range jumper and is a good shooter from three. She also handled the point guard duties. Hopefully we see a fully healthy Brewer back at it next season.rn
Rylee Beebe
Rylee Beebe
Another great defender with quickness. She also averaged 7 points per game on a Tumwater team that was built through defense. She has the ability to score but it is the defense that gets this pair here. Tumwater made it to the 2A state tournament, despite the injury plagued season.rn
Archbishop Murphy
Ava was a 1st team all 2A/3A Wesco pick this season. She is a good shooter from three, and can shoot it off the catch or the bounce. She shows the ability to attack the defense and score with strength and balance, using good footwork. She has a feathery soft touch from mid-range. All things that earned her all tournament as a freshman at the 2A state tournament last season.rn
Brooke is one of the best shooters in the state. She can knock down shots from deep with range that extends well beyond the three point line. She has a very quick release and is strong with the ball, using the dribble to free herself when needed. She averaged around 17 points per game this season as a freshman, earning 2nd team all 2A/3A Wesco. She handles the point guard position well, and is an obvious scoring guard with her ability to shoot it.rn
Highlights
Lincoln
The smooth shooting lefty was THE 3A PCL MVP this season. She can fill it up from beyond the arc and is even better in the open floor. She has great quickness and can finish with creativity at the rim. She is also a good defensive player who thrives on ball pressure and steals turning them into buckets.
Another important piece of the Lincoln backcourt. She is a shooter. She dropped 25 points in the state tournament with 4 threes in one game and averaged 15 in the three games at the Dome. Lincoln placed 6th in Class 3A. She was a 2nd team all PCL 3A pick this season. This pair likes to get out in the open floor and creates problems with their defensive pressure. rn
