Versatile Forwards Who Stood Out at The Clash

Several of the Midwest's, Northeast's, East Coast's, and South's better teams made their way to Hamilton, Ohio, and the new 28-court Spooky Nook facility at Champion Mill. With so many courts in one location, it's no wonder why nearly every school from the Midwest was seen evaluating prospects. She has good bounce, speed, and she can change directions fairly easily. She is a versatile defender who can take on some bigger guards, wings, and most forwards, and she is an excellent pursuing rebounder who tracks down caroms outside of her area. Offensively, she has expanded her game throughout her career, and she is highly effective in the mid-post but also somewhat comfortable around the perimeter. In the meantime, she is doing a nice job of using the combination of her strength, athleticism, and skill to be productive on the grassroots circuit. She has an extremely powerful frame, but she moves well in most directions. She can create a little, shoot it a little, but she really likes to attack downhill. However, Friday when I had the opportunity to see her, she was as active and involved defensively as I can remember. She got her hands on a number of passes, created fast breaks, and helped her team in a number of different ways. She has tremendous length, end-to-end speed, a great deal of bounce, and she plays with an outstanding motor. At this point in time, she is really starting to look much more comfortable with the ball in her hands, especially going the length of the court and creating off the bounce. She is still probably most comfortable in the mid-post and around the basket, and she is an outstanding rebounder who gets her hands on a lot of caroms. Over the last 9-12 months, however, she has improved her ball skill and become a much more effective creator/distributor.
