Monique did a great job finding driving angles and staying in attack mode throughout the game, using her strong frame to finish through all kinds of contact inside. In the third quarter, she drained a corner triple, and pulled down a tough rebound. She stayed aggressive down the stretch, hitting another corner three in the fourth, then finished at the rim to make the score 75-72 with just over two minutes left. I really liked her energy and effort on both ends.

Monique is another extremely talented athlete on the wing. She has great length, a wiry-strong, athletic frame, and she can run & jump with the best of them in the state. Her versatility is what I love about her game. She tends to let the game come to her offensively, almost too much at times, but when she wants, she can fill it up from outside, attack and finish in different ways inside, plus she can sit down and defend multiple positions the length of the floor. She is also a nice pursuing rebounder as a wing.

This young lady is a what I’d like to call a high- octane, dominating force in the paint! I love how she positions herself against opponents for rebounds- and her presence is felt all game! Great catch and delivery on the block! Super high ceiling!

I’ve talked about Monique a few times on this platform, but what I released on Sunday was this…she almost needs to be more demanding of the ball. There are games where she floats around, lets the action come to her, and she’s solid. Then there are games where she gets hot, takes over, and looks like a high-major Division-I prospect. She has the length, athleticism, size, and perimeter shot to be a mid to high Division-I kid, and I think when she is consistently aggressive, she is absolutely that kid. Just her transformation from a middle school post to a high school wing has been impressive.
