DEVIN SPLITTORFF
DEVIN SPLITTORFF
Devin plays the game – the right way! She has a good understanding of the game and she showed great potential throughout the weekend. Splittorff did well handling the ball and made strong passes to her teammates. She is aggressive when attacking the basket and doubly aggressive when she is on defense — Devin scored numerous points and had multiple rebounds in all four of her games!
AVERY STOKES
AVERY STOKES
Avery made an impact in every game! She is a player that can get it done on the offensive end by securing multiple rebounds as well as scoring on easy put backs — but, Avery was most impressive on the defensive end. Stokes did not allow the offensive post to gain positioning inside and she did an amazing job at protecting her basket — she had a number of authoritative blocks and important stops.
LARAE ROBINSON
LARAE ROBINSON
Larae is a strong and athletic player that was able to score from different spots on the court as well as out rebound a majority of the players in the 14U division. — she sprints up and down the court & was controlled when dribbling and getting to the rim. Defensively, Robinson is aggressive and there were many instances when her “in your face” defense flustered her opponents and caused turnovers.
LAYLA WHITNEY
LAYLA WHITNEY
Layla is a player that can go! — she did a great job of handling the ball under pressure and she kept her defenders off balance with the different ways she got to the basket. Layla was able to finish around the rim as well as find her open teammates around the perimeter. Defensively, she was aggressive and kept the players she was guarding uncomfortable.
DALLY POMEROY
DALLY POMEROY
Dally did a good job of controlling the offense and keeping her teammates involved throughout the weekend. She was solid offensively but her defense is what set her apart — she guarded bigger players in every game and was fearless! Pomeroy forced a number of turnovers and made it difficult for her opponents to get by her.
NATALIE BIXEMAN
NATALIE BIXEMAN
Natalie played consistently throughout the weekend. — her excellent defense led to easy points on the offensive end. Bixeman had multiple steals and once she got going towards her basket, she was able to finish at the rim, easily. — she has a good idea of where her teammates are, at all times – and this allows her to garner many assists and contribute to her team even when she is not scoring.
