KIASIA ALLEN
KIASIA ALLEN
Kiasia is a player that can do a little bit of everything on both ends of the floor. Defensively, she is solid as she made multiple stops and had numerous deflections throughout the weekend. But, Kiasia’s most effective skill set is on the offensive end — her spin move inside the lane and her finishes at the rim was what truly set her apart from the other players on the court. Allen is aggressive when attacking the basket but you cannot give her too much space because she can shoot and score from the outside, as well.
AUBREY LOMAN
AUBREY LOMAN
Aubrey is a high motor guard that can score from multiple spots on the court. She is able to get many of her shots off because she is constantly moving without the ball —- simply, she is wearing her defenders out. Loman was one of the fastest players on the floor this weekend and once she got going with the ball, she was hard to stop. Aubrey was able to garner many of her points off of fast breaks and quick jumpers. Aubrey does not need much room to get her shot off — she has a quick release and shoots at a high percentage!
KARISSA PATTERSON
KARISSA PATTERSON
Karissa is a hustle player — she does the “dirty work” to ensure that her team as a whole is successful. She is on the floor after every loose ball and she grabs multiple rebounds to regain possession for her team. Defensively, Patterson uses her length to make multiple stops around the perimeter and does not allow many players to get around her. Offensively, she attacks the basket aggressively and has a nice touch around the rim.
STELLA SACKS
STELLA SACKS
Stella did an excellent job of controlling the pace and tempo of the games this weekend. She handled the ball gracefully yet aggressively. – she was not flustered when she was pressured by the defense and she did a great job of finding her spots when she did not have the ball in her hands. Stella was able to score at the rim as well as from beyond the arc, efficiently. Defensively, Sacks controlled the ball handlers next move by playing close, forcing turns and causing turnovers.
KYLIE BACHALI
KYLIE BACHALI
Kylie is a solid guard who can go at 100% for the entirety of a game. She is quick and alert on the defensive end — and, controlled and poised on the offensive end. Bachali was one of the better ball handlers in this tournament – she was able to showcase her ability to dribble past defenders and did an excellent job of finding her open teammates in transition. Kylie definitely kept her teammates involved in every game but at no point should she be left open as she drained shot after shot throughout the weekend.
