Trinity Powell-5’2 PG ( Houston Lady Nets 2025) Summer Creek [2025]
Powell is an athletic guard that goes hard on both ends and she did that in every game I caught her. She defended “on the ball” and came away with some steals using her quick hands. She also saw the floor in the open court and made 25-foot passes in traffic on the money. Her court vision in the set was also nice, she hit her teammates as she attacked the basket but she also scored off the dribble, even dropped the FLOATA
Natalie Willis-5’8 G ( North Houston Hustle 2025) Splendora JH [2027]
Willis is a prime example of why I need COMPLETED rosters because her playing up and doing what she’s doing now has me intrigued about her upside. She’s tough, attacks strongly, and finishes the same way, after contact but she’s also fearless and shows it when defending and diving for loose balls. She also scored from the outside, I wrote DEEP, but also wrote “catch and shoot”
Destinee Willis-5’11 F ( North Houston Hustle 2025) Splendora [2025]
Willis played the passing lane consistently and that is something I love to see. She handles the ball and her court vision is nice but she understands how to create her shot and elevate on her jumper and drop it from outside while being defended. She also attacks off the dribble, her body control is nice and she finished after contact
London Lumsden London Lumsden 5'5" | PG Timber Creek | 2026 TX -5’8 G ( Team Stay Ready 2025) Timbercreek [2026]
Lumsden was another player that just went hard on both ends and peep this, watching her not only outrebound taller players, on both ends, but score on putbacks gets her an A for effort because she will not be outworked, let me drop a #THRO WBA CK for all I just said. She did a good job defending “on the ball” played the passing lane and dropped the midrange
Janeen Lashley-Hill- 5’11 F ( United Lady Elite 2025) Harker Heights [2026]
Lashley-Hill is long and athletic, again that is the base and her intangibles right now spoke volumes about her upside. She goes after EVERYTHING off the rim and she falls into that “never takes a play-off” type of player. She scored off the dribble, as well as around the basket yet her explosiveness on both ends is ahead of her years. She has good timing to block, deflect and (or) alter shots, she also defends in and outside the paint
Tiana Butler-5’10 F ( Team Tulsa 2025) Clyde Boyd MS [2027]
Butler is also “long and athletic” see above, and her playing up and handling the physicality already gives me a look into the future. She scored around the basket, putbacks included, after contact, yes she rebounds on both ends, but she also scored attacking from the wing using nice body control and showed she could drop the midrange jumper. Her timing was also impressive, she blocked a few shots and deflected a few more but her upside is really nice
Aaliyah Simone-Burris ( Team Tulsa 2025) 2027
Simone-Burris told me she goes by Simone instead of Aaliyah yet she goes by defenders as well, however, she wants to. I don’t know if she can sing but she has HIT written all over her after watching her leave the defender cemented to the court with her explosiveness yet her body control and finishing acrobatically after contact was very nice. She sees the floor, in the set, as well as in the open court, and her COP, change of pace going full speed had me giggling. Solid defender that also plays the passing lane and can drop the mid to long-range jumper
Alysia Knight-5’6 G ( DC Queens Carrolton) Van Alstyne [2026]
Knight scored off the dribble using a deceptive first step and she finished strongly after the lick. Her patient, yet smooth way of getting the defender off balance was nice, especially when she would use the “look off” while attacking. Solid court vision and defense
Rotem Moram-5’5 SG ( DC Queens Carrolton) Frisco Centenial [2026]
Moram shot the ball well on opening day, the only time I caught her but it was the way she shot it that sold me. She understands how to create her shot under pressure yet she can also drop it from deep with the “catch and shoot”
Dee Wilson (Pro Skills 16U National 1) North Shore
Wilson is a speedy guard, with the ball and understands how to control the tempo and get her teammates involved. Her crisp passes in traffic are nice yet her court vision in the open court as well as in the set gave them good looks. She also scores off the dribble and applies “on-the-ball” pressure defensively
Danielle Lombo (Pro Skills 16U National 2) Cy Woods
Lombo is “long and athletic” and for those who haven’t been paying attention, that is the BASE. She has a nice pull-up jumper, and she understands how to create her shot under pressure to get it off while being defended or attacking the basket off the dribble. She also rebounds and did a good job defensively
Maddie Holly-5’11 F ( TNBA Houston 2025) St Agnes [2026]
Holly scored multiple ways and had a breakout game as she created her shot to drop the pull-up jumper, from both mid and long-range but she also did a good job attacking the basket and finishing, body control was nice. Even nicer was her timing on defense as she had the offensive player change her shot, plus her rebounding on both ends was another plus
