It doesn’t matter which team or at which age level, all these teams bring players to the floor that work hard, are dedicated to the game, and possesses positive attitudes, even when things go bad. Their 15U UAA Rise team is no different. They work for one another, communicate at an impressive level, and overall just love the game of basketball. It’s something special to watch.

A fast moving guard with a good head on her shoulders. Is usually the heart of whatever team she is lacing up for while being an unselfish distributor. The type of player who can get you a basket when her team needs it the most. Promising prospect looking toward the future.
Ella Thornton
Ella Thornton
Nicely sized combo guard. A player who can currently play the guard position and stretch the floor with her jump-shot or post up near the basket if she has a mismatch. Displays an excellent shot form from the outside, accompanied with great balance and foot-work. A hard and dedicated worker on the floor with an extremely clean overall game that is impressive to watch live.
Isabella Lucero-Miner
Isabella Lucero-Miner
Athletic and physical combo guard. Is listed as a forward but with what I’ve seen she is as much as a guard as the next player with her elite ability to score on all three levels, handle, and create for others around her. Offensively, one of the better players I’ve seen at this age level this spring season thus far with her extensive “bag” of offensive skill moves and length.

Well rounded guard who can play the 1 or 2 positions at the moment, depending on what her team needs from her. Works efficiently and moves off of the ball really well. A great controller of tempo and pace when the ball is in her hands coming down the floor in transition. Possesses an aggressive offensive demeanor that loves to get all the way to the basket. Plays off of two feet when she gets to the “kill zone” in the middle of the lane, making sure that she is going to finish her attempts at the rim.
Gabby Hasenkamp

A constant and efficient contributor, always in more than one category for whatever team she is playing for. Understands the game of basketball very well and what is going on out on the court. Has a shifty side-to-side movement with the ball that helps her have a good amount of success on the offensive side of things. All in all, she knows her role, plays it well and with intent, and that leads to a lot of success for herself and her teammates.
A crafty and quick thinking guard that has a lot of speed, skill, and smarts on the court. A consistent and hard worker, who is one of the first on the floor for a loose ball or to go and help up her teammates if they have fallen. Has an extremely high motor that seems to never get tired. Defensively is a guard who can bring pressure the entire game, causing havoc, but never get rushed herself. Competes with a confidence and swagger that are impressive for her age.

Another guard for this team who can do a number of good things on the floor with the ball in her hands. Possesses a nice handle with a good blow-by ability going toward the hoop, usually ending in her patented spin move, into a finish. Displays a good knowledge of when/where to use the moves she has while not over-dribbling herself into trouble a majority of the time. Type of player who can come in and change the outcome of a game by the way she is competing that day.
Adeline Bosiljevac
Adeline Bosiljevac
A player who can mix between the 2, 3, and 4 position on the floor currently with her skill-set. Does a good job of moving without the ball in her hands, usually finding an open spot behind a defender for an open look. Defensively, she does great job of guarding smaller players with the ability to switch and stick on a post for a moment when necessary. When taking a step back and seeing the big picture, Bosiljevac is a player who can move and be successful in a number of different types of systems, which is good when looking toward her future when it comes to recruiting.
Aubrie Lierman
Aubrie Lierman
Maybe the most interesting prospect on this team. A player who displays that she can post with her back to the basket and score over either shoulder, catch on the perimeter and get all the way to the basket for a lay, and can work out of the mid-post from about 15FT and in. She rim runs extremely well and has a physical presence to her that gives her a clear advantage when it’s mixed with her size. Keep an eye on this one. There is special something here and the best is still yet to come.
Lauren Carlsen
Lauren Carlsen
A forward with a quick first step and a great head on her shoulders. Does a fantastic job of screening the ball when she is suppose to and moving out of the way either for a roll or a pop. Shows on a consistent basis that she can get to the rim in a number of ways wether its off of a back cut or a spin move, beating her defender. Communicates extremely well with the teammates around her while knowing everything that is happening on the floor at that moment. If she keeps working, is going to be a player to be known out of the state of Nebraska this winter at the varsity level.
