This is going to be someone with a lot of options as to where she might want to compete for the next 4-5 years at the end of the day. She is a swift guard with a fundamental handle, impressive vision in the open court, and a willingness to get all the way to the basket for a simple finish. She competes with a calculated aggression and that stands out. Millard South goes as far as Durow takes them this Winter. If she can put together another special season, watch out.

Durow is a gamer. A competitor. Someone who wants to play her best, at all times, no matter the situation. She is one of the first individuals to step up and lead. That’s going to take her places. Not just in basketball, but in life. Durow is coming off of a nice AAU season with her Nebraska Attack Select 17U team and I know she is going to be hungry to finish things out with a bang. Hasting has been offering a lot of promising 2026’s and 2027’s out of Nebraska the past few months during the Spring AAU season. Everyone they are offering can play at their competition level in some capacity. Durow is going to be Millard South’s main producer this Winter. She possesses all the intangibles to put together a great Senior season. Now she just has to go out and do it.

Durow exploded on the Nebraska Basketball scene this Winter with her production. Each night she averaged a high number of PPG, APG, RPG, and SPG. She created these numbers by attacking her defender at a consistent rate off the dribble, by finishing on both sides of the hoop multiple times a game, by competing with a high motor, and by executing their team’s game plan. Not to mention, Durow has no quit in her when she is playing. If you don’t stop her or pull her off the floor, it seems like she will just keep going forever. As we move into the Spring, Durow sits at #20 rated for her Class. Something she should be proud of but not satisfied with.

Durow, the 5’8 CG, came to play again last night, helping her team to an 8 point victory against Lincoln East. She ended the contest with a game high 21 points on 7-10 shooting from the field. Durow has been a constant all Winter long. Her natural play making ability, her quick dribble, her instincts, and her knowledge of the game have helped her become one of the state’s biggest stock-risers of the Winter. Every night that she has taken the floor this season, she has demonstrated that she is going to get a ton of buckets, while being a solid defender at the same time. She has a crafty ability to make something out of nothing and I’m hoping Millard South can ride this victory into a deep Post Season run before we know it.

Durow, a 5’6 CG, can play the 1, 2, or 3 position depending on what is needed from her and who else is on the court around her at that time. She is a player that is the definition of a competitor and playmaker, especially when her team needs it the most. She seems to have this clutch gene, where she makes a lot of important attempts and that stands out. Durow will return for one more season with her South team and I’m sure that revenge will be on her mind. If she stayed hyper-focused on becoming the best version of herself, she is going to return as a Senior and be even more impressive.

Assisting, Rebounding, creating turnovers, etc. The one factor you can’t deny is someone’s production and Durow has produced at a high rate this Winter. Plain and Simple. If she continues on this rate, who knows where she might take things by the time she gets into her final AAU season.
