Eli is a super aggressive defender for the Shoreshots 2024. She pressures the ball and fights through screens to avoid switches into mismatches. When she is off the ball, she does a great job thinking a play ahead. There were several instances where she created turnovers jumping to help or digging on the post. When she got switched onto bigs she was crafty with her positioning making the post entry passes very difficult. Offensively, I saw a patient player, looking to facilitate offense when necessary but ready to score whenever the opportunity presented itself. A quick release 3-point shooter and a great transition passer she will be chasing 1,000 points in her senior season at Ocean High School.
You can tell this young lady loves to defend. From baseline to baseline she is working on D and making it uncomfortable for opposing PGs with relentless pressure. Offensively, she is truly a leader. She gets people where they need to be on her Shoreshots 2024 team. Nina loves to get downhill with the ball and uses her strength to create space at the rim to finish. She has a soft touch on her high arc jumper and had 4 or more 3-pointers in six games as junior at Trinity Hall. A big senior year awaits Nina.
The only 2025 member of the NJ Shoreshots 2024 roster, Mackenzie showed she belongs. She uses every inch of her 6’4″ frame on offense in the post where her quick decisions and high release point on her shots from make it extremely tough to block. She seems very comfortable stepping out and shooting all the way out to the 3-point line. Defensively, she uses her length to disrupt any shot that goes up in the paint. After averaging 8+ppg and 8+rpg as a sophomore at Holmdel High School, she should be a double double machine in her junior year.
Sarah is a very high IQ defender. When she’s off the ball she sees the court and waits for the right moment to disrupt plays and get steals. She is definitely a leader on the court for the United 17u Diamond squad. She plays with energy and is always looking to get her teammates involved on the offensive end. She puts the ball in tight windows and gets it to her teammates in good spots as evidenced by her 4+rpg in her junior year at Voorhees HS. She is patient with the ball and uses an array of moves to get into the lane and finish or draw doubles and dish. She can score at all 3 levels.
