The only 2025 member of the NJ Shoreshots 2024 roster, Mackenzie showed she belongs. She uses every inch of her 6’4″ frame on offense in the post where her quick decisions and high release point on her shots from make it extremely tough to block. She seems very comfortable stepping out and shooting all the way out to the 3-point line. Defensively, she uses her length to disrupt any shot that goes up in the paint. After averaging 8+ppg and 8+rpg as a sophomore at Holmdel High School, she should be a double double machine in her junior year.

Mackenzie is long, ultra-athletic and has great mobility for her size. She is an efficient stretch 4 with consistent range out to 20-feet and the ability to glide across the court like a gazelle. The effectiveness of her high-low game is felt majorly as she seals off the defender and attacks the rim with authority. At Spooky Nook, she was often double-teamed in the paint, but used fantastic footwork and patience to escape traps and avoid turnovers. At the Shoreshots Summer Showdown she backed down defenders under the rim, sparked the transition offense and let it fly from 3 with no hesitation. Heading into the May live period in Atlantic City, she will look to continue her dominance and emerge as a player scouts want to keep a close tab on.

At 6’3″, Holmdel’s Mackenzie Teevan Mackenzie Teevan 6'4" | PF Holmdel | 2025 State NJ is intimidating and imposing on the hardwood. She can alter and deflect shots with ease. She has excellent positioning in the low post which creates rebounding opportunities on both ends of the court.
