Ngozi plays much bigger than the 5’10” she is listed at. She is a disruptive force in the paint and was either blocking or intimidating every shot that went up inside. She defends with an attitude for the United 17u Diamond team. Equally adept at blocking shots on the ball or in help she was a game wrecker on D. Her long arms are active in passing lanes and routinely create steals. When she gets the ball in her hands, she attacks the rim hard and is a good finisher. Ngozi is the kind of player that doesn’t need to have the ball in her hands all the time to make an impact on the game. She will do it with blocks, steals and the 7+rpg she has averaged over the last 2 years at Pingry.
Always in attack mode on offense for the United 17u East team. When she has the ball, she is trying to break down her defender. She is quick and shifty with the ball and when she gets the defender leaning, she gets downhill quick. She uses a strong euro step at the rim and finishes with both hands. Alyssa likes to play with tempo and gets all her teammates involved on the offensive end. She averaged 3+apg per game as a sophomore at St. Dominic’s HS. She should pass 1,000 career points in her junior year. Defensively, she is looking to get in passing lanes and take it coast to coast and has averaged 2+spg in her high school career. Add in 3+rpg and you have a player that will do whatever it takes to help her team.
Kenzie is your classic, tough, physical Jersey guard. I watched her turn games upside down at the AC Showcase with her on the ball defense. She keeps opponents from getting into their sets and gets her hands on the ball any chance she gets. Offensively she gets the ball up the court quickly and is always looking to move it to open NJ Soldiers teammates. In the halfcourt, she gets downhill off the bounce and makes excellent decisions when she gets in the lane. I am looking forward to seeing her with her Middle Township HS team at the Girls NJ Live in June.,
Not a lot of players are comfortable with their back to the basket, but Tessa looks right at home on the block for the NJ Shoreshots 2025 HGSL. When she gets the ball she makes quick decisions, uses her strength to get where she wants and her length to finish. She has great court awareness which allows her to make quick passes to open teammates for easy buckets. She gets out quick and fills lanes in transition. Defensively, her length is an asset getting in passing lanes and blocking shots. She is a strong rebounder as evidenced by her 6+rpg in her sophomore year for loaded Red Bank Catholic squad. I see a lot of double doubles coming in her junior year.
