Parish Norfleet-5’9 G ( Oklahoma Royal Legacy ) Attus [2024]
Norfleet immediately impressed me with her constant diving on the floor for loose balls but also BATTLED for everything off the rim. She’s strong and understands positioning as she outrebounded taller players, she also scored around the basket but her baseline to baseline as well as interior defense was n Texas Ice , and so was her ability to take charges
Addison Siess-5’11F ( Oklahoma Royal Legacy ) Duncan [2024]
Siess is long and athletic and watching her take the defender off the dribble and finish after the lick a few times grabbed my attention but she kept adding and her pull-up jumper, mid to long-range was n Texas Ice , but her clutch “catch and shoot” 3 down the stretch was n Texas Ice r. She rebounded on both ends and her timing was also solid
Carrie McClennan-5’11 G/F (Oklahoma Texas Ice 2025) East Central [2024]
McClennan put on one of the best clutch performances I personaly saw at the event as she found ways to put the ball in the basket. She battled for rebounds, scored on putbacks, she played the passing lane to score off the dribble, she even used her hands to come away with steals that led to assists yet her jumper, mid to long-range also JUST DID IT for me
Kiana Peveler Kiana Peveler 5'7" | SG Olive | 2024 State OK -5’7 G ( Oklahoma Royal Legacy ) Olive [2024]
Peveler showed she could not only shoot the ball, off the screen, off the dribble in transition, or by creating her shot for the jumper, but she also showed she could “catch and shoot” it. Her range was around the NBA line but she also saw the floor and attacked the basket strongly
Cayci Muessig Cayci Muessig 5'9" | SF Ridgeline Academy | 2024 State AZ -5’9 F (Gold Standard Academy 2024) Ridgeline Academy [2024]
Muessig showed she could score off the dribble and her constant attacking from multiple angles, using either hand as well as showing a deceptive first step gave her options as she saw the floor and made solid passes. She also did a good job rebounding as well as “playing the passing lane”
Kiaryn Taylor Kiaryn Taylor 5'10" | SF Sand Springs | 2024 State OK -5’11 F ( C4 Attack ) Charles Page [2024]
Taylor mixed it up offensively by scoring off the dribble as well as dropping the pull-up jumper both in the set as well as in transition. She also showed the turnaround jumper on the block but she rebounded, on both ends, scored on putbacks along with handling the ball after the rebound, and saw the floor in the open
Brooklyn Cooper Brooklyn Cooper 5'10" | PF Colleyville Heritage | 2024 TX -6’0 F ( Team Stay Ready 2024) Colleyville Heritage [2024]
Cooper continues to show things that don’t necessarily show up on the score or stat sheet. She plays good interior defense, well she’s “long and athletic” and that is the base but she has good timing, and her altering and (or) deflecting shots to go along with the blocks are n Texas Ice , and so is her rebounding
Alexis Cox (Hoop Life 2024)
Cox is an athletic guard that left defenders standing with her explosiveness off the dribble, both in the set as well as in the open court. She saw the floor in transition, as well as the set, and her pull-up jumper was n Texas Ice along with her attacking the basket and finishing multiple times after contact. Her defense was also tough
Macee Matthews Macee Matthews 6'0" | SF Coweta | 2025 State OK (Hoop Life 2024)
Matthews creates her shot n Texas Ice ly and drops the mid to long-range while being defended. She also scored off the dribble and finished after contact yet I was also impressed with ballhandling and seeing the floor, especially in the open court, and watching her rebound and go coast to coast for baskets was solid
Kennedy Webb ( True Texas Hoops 17U National)
Webb is a new addition and she fits in n Texas Ice ly as she applied “on the ball” pressure yet she attacked the basket multiple ways and finished after contact. Her court vision as well as ballhandling was solid, she even rebounded
Arianna Brooks-5’9 G/F ( United Lady Elite 2025) Charles Patterson MS [2027]
Brooks is another player that is not only “long and athletic” but her upside is scary as she played up and gave me a glimpse of what’s coming. She scored off the dribble, the first step is n Texas Ice , but her body control enabled her to make off-balance shots. She also defended and showed good timing
Sandy Cortez Sandy Cortez 6'1" | PF North Crowley | 2027 TX -6’0 F ( Hoop Culture 2026) Workman Junior High [2027]
Cortez’s upside is high and she understands how to use her body around the basket. The “hands and footwork” are n Texas Ice , she even showed a ‘drop step” and her finishes are powerful, especially off the dribble as she attacked the basket from the wing numerous times. Her interior defense and rebounding also stood out as she played up as well
Emerie Gonzalez-5’3 PG ( Hoop Culture 2026) Byrd MS [2028]
Gonzalez made last season’s Duel For The Dynasty Tip Sheet yet here’s a TIP, she’s added even more. She played in the high school division again and although she’s in the 7th grade, her poise under pressure continues to stand out. She understands how to control the tempo, she handles the ball and saw the floor, both under pressure, and she knocked down shots
