Despite being the smallest division, the 15U teams showcased some amazing talent and promises to have some future collegiate stars. Due to an illness, I was moved to cover the current 9th graders, and boy, am I glad that I was given this chance.

Lauren has a smooth jumper and a slick spin move. She hounds ball handlers and is always a danger for a pick six. She even showcased a nice seal in the post- great low post footwork for a guard.
Skylar Collingsworth

Kid went off for three 3 pointers and an and one bucket in about two minutes of play. She is a microwave scorer that has an edge to her. She finishes well and knows when to push and when to not.
I got to watch an exhibition as she went off for 30 points. She was the best shooter that I saw all weekend. She has the ability to move to the high post as well. She rebounds and has great vision. Strong kid that has can score from all three levels.
Highlights
Here is a 3 and D player that provides ball handling. She can dribble into a three or come off a curl. She pushes hard in transition off of misses or her own steals. She is a nice passer and chips in some rebounds. Great all around player.
Elle Mortimer

For the record, this kid is a 7th grader playing up two grades, and I thought she was one of the better kids on the court. Relentless motor and has amazing footwork in the high post. She is very physical and has a productive midrange jumper. She can take it to the rack and defend smaller players. This kid is going to be special.
