Erin Edmonds Erin Edmonds 5’9″ | CG Hopewell | 2025 State VA played with intensity and energy all day and was super impressive. She shot well all day from 3 and competed defensively. Erin was aggressive and committed to getting into the paint. Against Virginia Outlaws, she lived inside the paint, converting around the basket and using her floater a lot.
Like her teammate Erin, Brianna competed on both ends and had her fingerprints all over the game; she was good on the glass and did a solid job finishing around the rim. Tenacious is the best way to describe how she plays.
Kendall Scott Kendall Scott 5’7″ | PG Chancellor HS | 2024 State VA is a really easy player to watch. She is a smooth scorer and plays at her own pace. Kendall has an excellent feel for the game and did well at finishing through contact. She quietly had a good day and impressed me with her skill and IQ.
Team Loaded was one of the most impressive teams of the day. Tiara Herron Tiara Herron 5’6″ | PG John Marshall HS | 2027 State VA was one of the best guards on the day. She is a true PG, and I love what she can do. She blew by her initial defender a lot, and once she got into the paint, she could deliver some great passes. Tiara was fantastic in transition, and her handle, along with her passing, was what made her stand out all Saturday.
Team Loaded 17u was the best team of the day, and they played what I thought was the game of the day against Virginia Outlaws. Trinity Dale Trinity Dale 5’7″ | PG LC Bird | 2024 State VA was excellent in finding teammates and was the maestro for a fantastic Team Loaded offense. Trinity is quick and has an amazing handle. And her jumper from the mid-range is solid.
R’Mia Crutchfield
R’Mia Crutchfield
You see, many girls with size need help understanding how to use it effectively. R’Mia Crutchfield is not one of them. She bullied opposing players all night and was impressive on the glass on both ends. She used her drop step and touch around the rim to punish other teams. I was impressed with her all tenacity and energy all day.
