Laney Porter Laney Porter 5'9" | SG Puxico | 2025 State MO (TC Hoops 16U): A 5’9″ guard from Puxico who has good athleticism and she stays in attack mode off the dribble. The lefty makes good use of ball fakes to get defenders out of position before she makes her move. She can also knock down the 3-pointer to compliment her slashing moves. She is also very solid on the defensive end with her length and versatility.
*******
Ragan Filmore Ragan Filmore 5'8" | CG Fort Osage | 2026 State MO (Kansas Eclipse 16U- Blue Star): A 5’8 guard from Osage who is playing at a high level after coming off an ACL injury from earlier in the year. She is an active player who enjoys pushing the pace. She does a good job in the transition game. Her handles are good and she can hit the 3-pointer.
*******
Reagan Wobbe (PBA 15U): A 5’6″ guard from St. Elizabeth who led her team to a 15U bracket championship over the weekend. She had one of the biggest clutch moments of the entire weekend as she drained a 3-pointer as time expired in the championship game to give her team a 47-46 victory. I was very impressed with how she was able to handle the ball against intense pressure throughout the game with a minimal amount of turnovers.
*******
Enslie Dryer (Kansas Elite 16U DD1): A 5’9″ guard from Liberty who has impressive length and did a nice job staying active at both ends of the court. She’s a good ball handler who was capable of going coast to coast off the dribble. She is a solid perimeter shooter and she was very good when she was moving without the basketball.
*******
Ella Medlin (Kansas Eclipse 16U- Blue Star): A 5’9″ guard from St. Michael the Archangel who provided instant offense in the game that I watched her play. She is a good athlete who was fearless when she was attacking the basket. She had a stretch when she scored 10 points in a short period of time with a few slashing drives, a pair of 3-pointers and a could of trips to the free throw line.
*******
Lily Watkins (TC Hoops 16U): A 5’7″ guard from Jackson who has good quickness and she utilized it well in her team’s full court defense with her on-ball pressure and ability to get deflections and steals. Her anticipation was very good. She is an excellent passer in transition and she was very adept at getting into the lane and getting buckets on layups and floaters in traffic.
*******
Tara Davis (TC Hoops 16U): A 5’4″ guard from Doniphan who has good speed and she has a nice high-arching shot from 3-point range that swishes through the net with regularity. Her quick release on her shot is impressive. Her fundamentals are good as are her playmaking skills. I like that she is willing to go set screens for her teammates, despite being one of the smallest players on the court.
